I remember EXACTLY where I was when I FOUND OUT ABOUT Aliyah. I was out hanging with my friends, and my mother actually called me. Being the same age as her really had me shook. All of us were crying, and the DJ made an announcement, and had a moment of silence. It was so SAD and strange, a whole club full of people...dancing and crying...we were hugging each other. My mom would just look at me crazy for the next two weeks. I think she was just glad she wasn't a parent getting a call like that. I'll never forget it. 💔
