Black History: Claudette Colvin doesn't get enough props. I feel that Rosa Parks got the credit, but Claudette refused her seat on the bus (at the age of 15) and was arrested. This happened about 10 days before Miss Parks.

They didn't back her because she was a pregnant unwed mother in Montgomery Alabama during thur 50's. Do some research. It was nothing anyone would hang a hat on yet alone a whole civil rights movement. They mention her now because there's not as much stigma. We're talking J. Edgar Hoover era. Read up on her. It's in all the old archives. Rosa was a simple seamstress. So much of life then and now is about.... TIMING...
