I'm from Europe so we just basically watch a lot of F1, WRC, and other classes. Then the highlights of Indycar on KZbin (or when we are lucky live indycar races like the 500). Nascar was pretty much off the radar here, and it's gaining a lot of popularity. But why is everybody fighting at each other about which class is better (nascar vs. indycar)? Be grateful you've got two amazing racing classes in northern america, which are totally different but still great.

If u don't understand NASCAR u shouldn't watch motorsport! If u think its easy, try a lap with a 850bhp gen6 car on a short oval! Every kind of Motorsport is awesome and exicting! F1, LMP, GT, Indycar, NASCAR, Rally, Trucks, ... Even drag-racing is exciting! U only need to understand the sport! Looks like this "easy" sport is to complicated for some ppl!

I never watched NASCAR on tv but i played nascar 2005 chase for the cup so much as an 8 year old that it feels like I never missed anything 😂😭 its the only reason i still remember most of their names and the cars they drove. It felt really nostalgic watching this, especially the ones from around 2005 because it reminded me of the awesome car models from that time, the familiar names, and all the laps i had driven (theoretically) myself 😂 I even have a small collection of 1/64th scales from that time too... NASCAR seemed to be pretty big back then, I wonder how its doing now. Either way, I am glad I had some NASCAR in my childhood 🏆 I gotta try out another game sometime 🏁

Put a nearly 2 ton piece of metal into any fence and see how well it holds up. Also it wasn't the car that kill Earnhardt it was the lack of a head and neck restrain which allowed his head to snap forward and basically internally decapitate him. Several drivers throughout the years and in various series of NASCAR and various other forms of motorsports outside of NASCAR have died from the same injury. Very few have survived the injury, one being Ernie Irvan.

A little more... One way to see this on a highway is get behind a big rig and get close (you can tell you have to push the gas less to go the same speed). Also roll down the windows and you will feel the difference. You can put your hand out the window and it will not blow it back as hard. Not really a good idea to tailgate a tractor trailer but that is one way for an everyday person to get the just of what the "draft" is.
