I can’t take these basketball narratives being morphed into football. Yes, the QB position is the most “critical” position. However, when it comes to winning championships, it is 100% THE TEAM. It’s the Buffalo Bills, not Josh Allen, that can’t get over the hump. Allen is responsible for only one side of the ball just like all the other QBs in the league, and they rely on everyone else making plays in order to win. Quarterbacks ARE NOT the equivalent of a Micheal Jordan, Magic, Bird, Kobe, Lebron, or a Kareem. Everyone keeps talking about QBs as if they are always the reason for their teams winning. Tom Brady has multiple rings where he had subpar performances and the reason Mahomes has a shot getting a ring again has been due to the Chiefs defense the last couple of years being at or near the top. Everyone needs to stop talking about Lamar and Allen as if they are in their 30’s and realize these guys got a lot of football left in them and right now the league is in the Chiefs dynasty run. Comparing qbs now to a generation ago is pointless and impossible. It’s not the same game anymore. Rules have tilted so far in the quarterback’s favor it’s boring.
