I was living in Miami when hurricane andrew hit. We were out of power for 2 weeks . Bryan Norcross was my angel. I listened to him on my radio powered by batteries. It was so scary at night when there was no light and no sound. Bryan's was the only voice to the outside world. I've always wanted to thank him for being there when I couldn't call my mom in Georgia to calm me down. I was very worried about my disabled husband. Thank God for you. Just wanted to let you know personally. I know you touched alot of people.

I remember this like it was yesterday! My mom was friends/acquaintances with Bryan. She actually called him to ask him where we should evac to since she was wheelchair bound, and he helped us figure out our plan. I still owe our lives to you Bryan! You are an angel Sir! 💙

I remember when hurricane andrew hit us in south florida there was a meteorologist named bryan norcross and a small team that stayed on air at the studio broadcasting via radio all night, updates on the storm and how to protect yourself. I couldnt appreciate what he was doing at the time because i was only 5 but i remember my family huddled up listening to his broadcast as the storm was going and im sure he helped save a lot of lives. People like this are heroes to those that need some guiding voice during terrible weather events.

Bryan Norcross did well at WPLG but He didn’t last there for one reason alone. The late Ann Bishop who became a South Florida Broadcasting Legend was in effect, calling the shots at WPLG. If she didn’t like You or didn’t think highly of your work, You were eventually let go as was likely the case with Bryan Norcross. He found a new Home at WTVJ and there not only became a Legend but one of the most trusted Meteorologists in America. He helped save many lives during Hurricane Andrew, more than He could have imagined.

I was a kid when hurricane Andrew came Andrew struck Miami. I weather the store wedged under the dashboard of I'm off my mom's Toyota Camry part in part in argarage in country walk. Although still scared shitless II was not as scared as I should have been because Of all the "ready set hurricane" shows Bryan Used to do. We listened to him to him threw the car speakers During the storm And it was a good distraction from the awful sounds that were going on outside the car. Our house was the only house in that side of the subdivision that survived but only because the neighbors house completely collapsed on top of ours Bing our roof from blowing off. The entire neighborhood was considered a total loss and we couldn't stay in the house but at least all of our items stay dry. Now with hurricane Ian heading towards us in Gainesville I just had to make sure I got his take.
