Last time I saw thunder snow was in Hannah elk Mountain Wyoming I was driving along light snow ❄️ two quick bolts of lightning ⚡️ a couple of seconds later I couldn’t see the hood of the Buick LeSabre I was driving yes all visibility stopped 2” passing the windshield

For MCI Airport Yes, but I have seen a foot of snow in the last 20 years on the metro area. But yes 2013 was the last time we had over a foot in the Northland/Smithville and those areas from what i remember. This ice storm snd blizzard was nearly as bad as the ice storm in 2001.

The records are a load of crap...i was born in 71 and i remember watching an at home KC Chiefs game where snow was dumping on the stadium. Yeah, like back when people weren't so..."sensitive" and lived. Football was played in storms and people drove in them to get there and there was no drama about it. Can't trust anyone to tell the truth anymore. Records altered and 2 inches of snow with ice first turns into the most dramatic thing ever! Ten years from now we'll all be wearing rubber suits because bumping into each other will be a matter of law suits and they'll outlaw public shopping and eating because the police force can't handle the new anxiety laws that get called in over social media post! God help us!!
