Yes they are tricky. I went to bed once thinking it was going in at Vero Beach only to wake up and it was just south of St.Augustine crawling up the coast.

Truth is, doesn't really matter. The winds won't be the problem...all that rain is. And looks like all that rain is heading to the va mountains, doesn't take much to flood here!

Speak for yourself. Gust of 60 mph will do damage inland. Rain sucks but the wind is going to cause major power issues and trees down

@@Tactical-hg7ov true but what did more damage, caused more loss of life during Katrina? The flood waters. Now I'll give you the fact that winds are no joke but inland it's the rain that freaks me out. My town will flood with 3 inches of rain. This thing is on a path straight to me and will all the rain it brings, it's gonna be a nightmare here. If anyone reading this is in its path, may God watch over you and keep you safe ♥

Hurricanes and Their Relation to Man-Made Climate Change: Rising Sea Surface Temperatures: Warmer ocean waters, fueled by global warming, provide more energy for hurricanes, making them stronger and more frequent. Increased Moisture in the Atmosphere: Higher temperatures cause more evaporation, leading to more intense rainfall during hurricanes, increasing the risk of flooding. Sea Level Rise: Melting ice caps and thermal expansion of seawater result in higher sea levels, which exacerbate storm surges during hurricanes, causing more damage to coastal areas. Changing Wind Patterns: Climate change alters atmospheric circulation, which can affect hurricane paths and intensify their impact on previously unaffected regions. Deforestation and Urbanization: Human activities that alter natural landscapes reduce the land’s ability to absorb storm impacts, increasing vulnerability to hurricanes. Human-induced climate change is intensifying hurricanes, making them more destructive and unpredictable.

I think it's pretty strange how they know exactly where the storm is going to go before it was even formed when Ian was coming they had no clue where was going it was going up the coast then down the coast then up the coast then down the coast My house was destroyed by Ian. This whole reporting/news/cycles has to stop these people are playing with people's lives they're all horrible people The media needs to go
