Hurricane Beryl Strengthens In The Caribbean, Remains Category 4

Hurricane Beryl now has a sustained wind speed of 155 mph. However, it remains a Category 4 hurricane, as the threshold for a storm to reach Category 5 is wind speeds over 157 mph.

Bless up Jamaica! If you are able to leave I would do so; high end cat.4; high potential cat 5. It doesn't look good. Millibar dropping is a sign of core convection & deepening. Beryl could be a Cat 5. by breakfast 7/2. Unless something crazy happens like an eye-wall replacement cycle or an unforeseen circumstance that chokes the eye-wall. The Lord cover & bless fully.

I think the wind shear down the line is going to be the determinant for which direction Beryl decides to go because this storm is too strong and powerful at the moment. If that ridge buckles just a bit, depending on how far south and east it will be, then that turn will happen a lot sooner than anticipated, and that is when the entire Gulf will be on pins and needles trying to figure out just where Beryl plans to do damage.

Computers do all the forecasting, Yet TV forecasters ( I use that term loosely) make it sound like all of this is their own and they've done all this homework.
