When style is emphasized over quality, the results will always be sub par. To clarify, I am not saying that these guys *don't* have talent (tbh haven't listened to enough of their material to form an opinion yet either way), rather I am just offering a bit of unsolicited constructive criticism (😏lol)..... So, making the observation that the image they are portraying seems to be more important to them, in general, than the quality of the sounds they are creating (not only in this specific live performance, but in every single one that I have seen so far).... I guess I just find it fascinating, the choices people make as to where their priorities fall and why they choose to focus all their energy into one aspect while neglecting another. I get that image is important, and preforming live is quite difficult (very complex, as well as beyond exhausting in soo many diff ways most people will never fully appreciate), BUT, it shouldn't be at the expense of your live sound quality. That's all. ☺ These guys are certainly not the only artists who make this mistake BTW, I see it quite a bit and it is definitely an issue I've watched get worse over the last 25+ years or so. Whatever, that's my 2¢ (per post monthly quota; not to exceed 60¢/month, 2¢/day self imposed limit lol), all used up in this one lame post lol. Regardless, I wish these guys the best, and continued success in their career.
