Anyone else listening to this one and comparing it to the original version. I feel like he's lost some of the pain that he was feeling in the original. This is so much more smooth and put together. The line that says “Well I know there can come fire from the sky to refine the purest of ______” should say kings rather than canes, according to atozlyrics.com Before I looked it up I thought it might be Cain’s as in Cain and Abel in the Bible. Anyway I’m not hating on you! I do appreciate you posting the lyrics. I’m not saying Kings is absolutely, positively correct either, just passing on what I found.
