Great episode. Listening to Kasper talk about Lars Høgh brought a tear to my eye. I was a kid in the 80's and Lars was a part of the legendary Denmark team that thrilled the footballing world in 1986. Some players are well liked by fans of other clubs and Lars was such a player long before he became the goalkeeping coach for the national team. 817 matches for his club, part of the Odense team that saw Real Madrid out of the UEFA Cup in 1994-95 by winning 2-0 in Madrid and 8 games for Denmark. It would have been a lot more if not for Kasper's dad. Also, Kasper just comes across like a really likable person and I'm am thrilled to have him between the post for our national team.

What a guy and inspiration to all the young guys coming through. The mind set, self belief and determination to keep going regardless of the obstacles that get put in front of you. This is exactly why footballers or any sporting icon for that matter, should do podcasts. Show us the real them and the grind they have had to make it. I like many others before hearing this would just assume he got to his position due to the fortunate upbringing and riding on his dads name. Obviously would have needed talent to match that but how many amazing footballers with talent are not fortunate enough to make it. Just complete respect to Kasper and a huge respect to Fozcast Channel. Loved it, best one yet for me!

Listening to this podcast has boosted my confidence hugely. For years I’ve question why keepers are expected to pull of these worldie saves with no recognition. I’m glad it’s not just me. Until they’ve been between the sticks and realised it’s not an easy job they have no right to pick apart your performance.
