Great video! I had the same issue with the battery connector. However my everdrive x7 works just fine. Could be an SD card issue with the Everdrive. Did you try it in the gbc after? Also there is a new firmware 1.08

Tried it on 1.08 with GBC, GBA, SP and works flawlessly. Not quite sure why its not working with FPGBC...

I got my FPGBC and everdrive around the same time. The FPGBC was 1.06 and everything worked perfectly. Did you figure out why it is so tight putting a game in? That is concerning.

I brushed it off as unit being new. Since I never owned a brand new gameboy, I don’t really know the right amount of “tightness” it’s suppose to have.

You need to update your firmware for the everdrive to work.

The firmware was an up-to-date version since it was set up on March. Still not sure why it didn’t work.

@@MetallicFear did you personally update the firmware since you've received it? Mine just got to town and the firmware was not updated from the factory.

Yes because my ever drive didn’t come with an SD card. I personally loaded the firmware and games myself.

I think you're misunderstanding me. You don't have to update the everdrive firmware, you have to update the firmware on your FPGBC.
