I still cant beleive we dont have a switch lite oled moden yet with how long the lite been around. We had a switch oled so figure we ahve oled model of lite now. Unless they plan make a lite version for next switch handheld that comes out after a few years

I have a old V1 switch. Thinking of getting a Lite as a replacement.

I have a V2 Switch from 2019 and my wife has a Switch Lite from 2023. When I first used the Lite I was blown away how sturdy and comfortable it felt. I never use it for big games tho, it's the indie machine for Dpad centric games. I really love it's Dpad. Still my V2 is my main device because I still like to use it time to time on the TV for games like Switch Sports. The Split Pad Pro is one of my favourite controller ever because my hands never cramp when I use them, I don't miss the Gyro on it. It's big, comfortable, and the analogue sticks feel waaaay better than the joy-con's. Good video. Greetings from Hungary!

I own a switch already and I feel it's time for a secondary console. I would like to get a switch lite (especially that new gold zelda one) but I feel I should just wait until the Switch 2 comes out so that I save my money.

I liked my lite but i had to get rid of it at some point cause it was straining my eyes even when i had my glasses on and went with the oled version and made improvements on it. I would loved a switch lite oled model if they ever made it, larger stretched out oled screen, better joycons, better buns, and even better improved battery. Maybe we see that with the switch 2 model version when it comes out. I still recommend to others, especially if have kids and dont want spend so much on console. My brother has a switch lite and he loves it despite it being smaller than the regular switch

I’m pretty sure Rift Apart is a sequel to Into The Nexus since the 2016 reboot was a stand alone game.

I have a PS2 it's not hooked up right now but anyways long story short I think the PS2 overrated for real reasons that you just explained PS2 games been remastered on PS3 and some even got releases on PS4 and PS5 also it's been proven multiple times that Xbox and GameCube run the multiplatform games better such as true crime GTA Soulcalibur Mortal Kombat so yeah but I'm being honest with you ps2 too overrated bro

There are probably many reasons why consoles wouldn't store saves on game disks, like accidental erasure of game files like you mentioned, but my guess to the biggest reason is that rewritable CDs can only be written to a limited number of times (~1000 times according to Wikipedia). This means game disks would become unusable after saving too many times and you could very well save 100 times for a single playthrough of one game, meaning you could only play through the game 10 times before the disk was destroyed. The writing process itself might also be a factor since a CD-RW needs to be blanked before each instance of writing to it. This means the console needs internal memory to store all the game files so they can be written back to the disk every time you save along with the new save data. This would likely take a long time and with that internal storage added you might as well just store the save data on that. So basically, it would quickly destroy the game disk, someone might put the disk in a computer and erase the game by accident, saving would take a really long time and the console would need a large internal memory which might as well store the save data at that point. On top of all this the price of consoles and games would increase since CD-RW and their readers are more expensive. So it's definitely a big no-no.
