Tour of my 1997 Ford Explorer XLT

Quick tour/walkaround of my 1997 Ford Explorer XLT. It has the 4.0L Cologne SOHC V6 with 205hp and has the 5 speed auto trans. Truck has 223k miles. It was a 1 owner from new till early last year. I sold it on January 8th 2012.

Luis Perales... man I don't know what Ford does with these motors but they are amazing.... they're like an old faithful dog...I've had 2 Ford Explorer's 96 and 97...both over 250,000 miles and I promise you I barely changed the oil... the damn things wouldn't die so I finally sold them to have an excuse to buy something newer.

if yours is the SOHC, dont expect it to last anything past 240k. its extremely rare to see one with more miles than that. they just self destruct around that mileage.

biggie smalls was shot in a gmc yukon or suburban or danali. cant remember witch one but it wasnt a ford

In my opinion this car fits you. Not my choice but you should def keep this car for a long time! Do you think the body lift was done to possibly use bigger tires?

I like your dirty sticker, lol. Did you know the change holder slides out and it's designed to fit McDonald's napkins to go through that oval hole at doesn't seam to serve any purpose, (not joking).

I highly doubt its the same one. There was tons of Explorers made in this color. I live in PA. I sold it cuz it had a fuckton of issues.

My grandma had a Ford Explorer and it was the same color but she sold it because it was falling apart
