Trimble Access Keying in Polylines

We talk to a lot of people that get confused about how to key polylines/alignments in, in Trimble Access General Survey. Most do not know how to key in curves. This video shows all of the different ways users can key in complex polylines with straight and curved segments.

I have been wondering what polylines are. I am 41 and been surveying for a little over 2 years. No one that I work with uses these features. I know very basic linework for straight lines. Intervals, curves, sequence and all the other features that are too numerous to name here, remained somewhat enigmatic. I really want to learn more so I can be better and more valuable and ultimately make more money. I appreciate you keeping this video accessible in a way I can grasp. I found this video searching "cad tools on Trimble access" and "how to calc points on trimble access". This is the best video I found and now I can't wait to try to use poly lines in the field. I'm not sure when I would use them but I know understand how. Thank you and I look forward to seeing more content from this channel!

Can you make a polyline so that you can stake a radius of an intersection that has multiple points both horizontal and vertical.

you mention "station plus and station minus soft keys on the stakeout screen" near the start of the video. with my old TSC3 there was buttons on the screen that noted station +/- but with the TSC5 staking out alignments with a skew, I need to set my stations and skew, head to that point and stake it out - then hit escape, select station once again and pick my next station (example going from 0+015 to 0+030. is there a quicker way to jump from station to station? Thanks!
