No worries mate. I think I was able to spot the benches on most of the wildcards when you were scrolling, but I think there was one where I just couldn't see them! By the way.. just watching the new buy, sell, avoid and its only right I call out the improved graphics, looks class 👌

The massive flaw with wildcarding this weekend is, players are jetlagged, and they are going to be benched. The ones who arent benched, could possibly put in an under par performance. wildcarding after international break has flaws.

Thanks for rating my team at the end there mate! I share the same concern about no Arsenal for gw6. One possibility could be to drop Salah down to Saka and go Joao Pedro to Havertz. Scary though… 😮

Everyone had Haaland in there team and yes so far that has worked, 7 goals in 3 games. If he keeps that up he will score 88 goals, in fact he was 5th on the list with 217 points. I’d argue he’s not essential

He’s not wrong in any way about his united comments... they were lucky to only lose by 3 against Liverpool. They are a mid table team these days.

I decided to post this long post again here since I´m not sure it got read on the other video. :p Hey Dan. Love the the video like always. :) Even though I have been hit hard by not having Haaland in my team I am not planing on WC yet. With that said, I have to admit that this is one sexy WC team! Love the Semenyo and Masquera picks for example. However, there are some players that I´m not totally sold on like the Verbruggen, Fabianski duo. Steele hasn´t really been bad and Areola doesn´t seem to be as injured as it looked out to be. I do realize you explained that pick but hear me out haha. So just for fun I made a WC team with few guidelines. :) 1. On defence I wanted to cover Arsenal, Liverpool and ride that Lewis train. 2. In the mid I really want to keep Salah as I am a hardcore Liverpool fan haha but I also want to get in on Palmer since he is the heart and soul of that Chelsea team and Eze seems to be a must for the same reason even though that Palace team is undergoing some changes. 3. Up front Haaland is a must. So here´s what I came up with: GK: In goal I would go for Raya to save a bit and to cover the Arsenal defence. He has been an absolute beast and should be 100% nailed and I don´t see that Neto will ever change that. As a backup Valdimarsson (fellow Icelander :p ) or Fabianski would be the 4 million option. Defence: Now, I don´t really like to have CB´s in my team but we have to cut corners somewhere. So I went for Lewis, Digne, Konaté, Faes and Mosquera. Now the plan there is to ride the Lewis train and to cover the Liverpool defence (to me, Konaté has been looking really good). Digne has been on some set pieces and with only 4,6% ownership he might even be a fun differential. The 2 cheaper ones are of course for the bench but having 4ish million players that actually play is always a plus. Leicester defence has actually looked quite strong and they have some nice fixtures coming up. Midfield: Like I said I wanted to have Salah, Palmer and Eze. I went for your lovely pick Semenyo and to top it of I went for Adama Traoré in stead of Rogers. He looks so much better with Fulham than he did with Wolves and the new bonus point system suits him perfectly. He´s only 5 million and with only 2,4% ownership I would consider him a hidden gem. Forwards: At front Haaland is a must and is of course the whole reason for this WC team. Since the Norwegian monster costs an arm, leg and possibly one kidney you need some cheap options with him up front. So to back him up I have João Pedro who has looked good but so has Danny Welbeck so either one of them would be a fine pick. I did consider Adam Armstrong who did some amazing things last season (24 goals and 13 assists) and seemed to start out strong this season as well but I worry that he will be another Mitrovic from 2 years ago. With those two I went for Dominic Calvert-Lewin. He looks strong and hungry this season. If he stays uninjured and fit I´m hoping he will be an absolute beast on the pitch. And with the price drop to 5,9 million, that sweet fixture run coming up and only 1,7% ownership he would be my other hidden gem in this team. There is one thing severely missing from this line up and that is a piece of that sweet Arsenal attack. That is done on purpose though because of Raheem Sterling and what he will do to the Arsenal line up. Maybe he will have no impact at all but maybe he will shake the whole team up. I´m not worried about Saka´s minutes but considering where Sterling will play (if he plays) might change the Arsenal team completely and might even push Havertz way back to the bench. Therefore I decided to leave the Arsenal attack out for 2 gameweeks or so. ;p But hold on ... there is a twist .. This team leaves 0,8 million in the bank so there is some room for some changes and tweaks and the biggest one would be that I consider Salah and Palmer to be so similar players (blasphemy I know!!) that trading out Salah for Saka would be an interesting trade. That would give us 2,4 million more in the bank so upgrading Traoré to Diaz or Jota would be easy, pushing Semenyo to the bench but still covering both Arsenal and Liverpool attack and still leaving change to consider a strong mid price midfielder pick if something goes sideways. Or even to power up that defensive line. But then I would probably go with Alisson in the goal to cover Liverpool defence. Sorry about the long rant haha. Best wishes from Iceland.

I agree with a lot of this! Some of your picks are pretty risky, but that’s fine. One note is that Verbruggen has been confirmed now as first choice goalkeeper for the season, and Steele will not be playing unless there are injuries

While I know that harwood bellis won’t play much in your team, last game he played, he was taken off early, so by the chance you wildcard, take him out for someone like greaves or mosquera

You just activate it anytime before the deadline. Use list view to see selling price and purchase price because you can lose money if you keep swapping players around while on wildcard.

Havertz will easily cover saka,,,his g/a numbers as a st are better than saka,s and the extra point for goals and clean sheets are compensated by the 2million less,odegard,s numbers have been trash for two seasons now,last season he didn't reach double figures in goals or assists and has not had good numbers this season same to Martinelli,if arsenal will score,havertz and saka will 100percent be involved

Salah + Haaland + big at the back is the way to go imo. I have that combination + Eze and Havertz and the rest is just about finding the right enablers, Rogers, Minteh, Joao Pedro. All I need at the moment is 1 more mid for £6.2m, preferably £5.4m or less so I can get Mbeumo and Wissa for Minteh and Joao Pedro in GW6. (Only plays GW5 so I’m looking at Brereton Diaz for a differential, would prefer a Leicester mid against Everton (H) but don’t know who’s nailed out of Ayew, Mavdidi, Buonanotte, El Khannouss and De Cordova-Reid. Fatawu is more than £5.4m sadly)

Mate got too much agenda on United. Every few episodes you will need to say "I know United fans will hate me on this." Sadly, it's the biggest turn off for your video.
