So surely Gvardiol now becomes an essential pick? He’s not really a defender , he’s a left winger who gets back and he’ll have more shots than most defenders . Think the bonus points change with regards to shouts and fouls is actually massive . It surely means picking centre backs will be a thing of the past unless it’s someone who gets forward a lot

No, that's only in the bps. You won't get an actual -4 points for each goal.

It’s a -4 in the calculation system for who gets the bonus points, ofc a goalie won’t get 9 fpl points for saving a pen (and they obv didn’t used to get 15 points)

I hope mystery chip is something you can choosing 1 from many effects like triple captain, bench boost, wild card, 2 captain or weird position that can use 5 strikers in a team. It'll be fun to play. 🤣

Question - can i put (and later use the points) a player that plays Saturday as vice captain if my captain on the Sunday didn't play? I've only played the euro fantasy and you could pick a captain then change it the next day if your first choice did bad. I take it we can't do that? Hope that makes sense? 🤔

You can’t chance captaincy. Once the deadline hits your team is locked

I'm not against the idea of saving up to 5 free transfers. Problem. I'm going to try and set a team where I can save transfers. But then the game might get boring as I can go 5 weeks without a transfer. What's the point of strategic analysis each week if I have no intention of making a transfer? It's not -4 points for conceding a goal its -4 in the BPS which goes towards calculating who gets the Bonus Points.

I have heard from a fairly reliable source that the mystery chip is called super switch. It will allow you to make substitutions both during and after the game week, until the start of the next one. So basically you can sub in anyone who did really well after the match. Doubt it will really be that impactful. My source also said this is not confirmed and they are basically deciding between this and another idea, hence why they aren't releasing til January

My same source has told me the reason for the 5 free transfers is that a record number of players started fantasy but dropped out from playing halfway. Lots of people miss a couple of weeks and give up and this is designed to help people who have missed a few games!
