So you’re saying Guehi > Walker irrespective of price? btw, going forward it would be nice if there were also a ‘color rank’ which did not take price into account - I think a lot of people (myself included) are not actually optimizing against a price constraint.

What about Akanji and Posh. Akanji is basically guaranteed 4 point for 90 minutes, and at least 6 ball rec. Italy haven't looked great going forward, so potentially also a clean sheet, as well as a potential MOTM for Akanji. He is also a somewhat differential with 9% ownership Posh (only 4,5 million) is the defender with the most shots in opposition box, 4th for touches inside oppostion box, and 5th for passes received in the final third. Austria were on of the teams that attempted the most crosses in the group stage with 40. Considering Austria are in great form and playing a rather defensively weak Turkey without their main man Calhanoglu he could be a hidden gem. He is also a super differential with only 1% ownership. I think a good strategy would be to go 3 solid defenders with hig probability of a clean sheet, for example Guehi, Carvajal, and Cancelo, and punt on Akanji and Posh.

I think you make fair points for both players, I should have considered both and I do like Akanji for the ball rec aspect but I will say that xCS for Austria still looks oddly low despite the Turkey matchup so the floor does feel lower for Posch. Some of these attacking numbers don't contextualize how good his goalshooting positions area either., but I do like the short volume metrics. Good spots.

I honestly don't know. I have a friend who has performed statistical studies to other data aggregating websites and they have completely different results to UEFA for ball recoveries.

Baumgartner likely to start at the wing with Patrick Wimmer out. I beleive this makes him a great superdifferential considering Austria have looked great, and are one of the teams with the most attempted crosses in the group stage . As well as playing a defensively unstable Turkey, without their talisman Calhanoglu due to suspension.

Do you not think Kante is a good option as he faces Belgium. A fairly decent team, and the chances of recovering the ball against them would be higher, therefore picking up those extra points and potentially a MOTM
