Interesting what you built. It was important to me to have something small for the park, and the Talon is perfect for that. But GPS is never wrong. If I had known that the FC no longer had any free ports, I would probably have decided against the Talon.

I swapped my Avata V1 for a Cinelog35, it was OK but the frames were rubbish. I rebuilt the parts into a Cloud149 V2 frame and upgraded to the performance motors and that made a great quad - almost bulletproof in crashes...almost, it broke eventually after ramming a tree at high speed. Then I built the parts into a Speedybee35 pro frame with O3 camera - and that literally is an amazing quad now. So much better than the Avata. Looking forward to seeing your new flights.

It looks like it flies quite well, nice work on converting it and saving some money. Even if you had to buy a new O3 for it, it’s cheaper buying that separately with an analog version. I was interested in this one myself but the lack of ports is disappointing. I was looking at the FC manual and it says it has 3 ports available, I would assume 1 for O3, 1 for the built in ELRS, so there should be 1 left?

I think the first port was the USB port, but I could be wrong. Unfortunately, the conversion was more difficult than expected because the FC is very small and soldering is no fun. In the end everything works and the little one flies really well and the O3 delivers good videos and that without jerking. When I get the chance, I'll get two more 660 batteries because the 850 makes the quad heavy or makes it work in flight.I have to take another look because of the GPS, which would be a shame because I already have it 😅
