I’m not a fan of these 2 panel guest line up. Please stop. Jaimee has accomplished enough inside and outside of ballroom to have a full show dedicated to her alone.

Yes but in some cases it works and I do think it’s worked in these cases because it’s based around Fem queen but they still expand to bring other layers of experience, expression, and comradery in the community and scene. If they had two separate cis guests the episodes would probably run almost identical and come off repetitive. It makes sense to dive the deepest with trans guests to stay authentic bc honestly I don’t care for guests that aren’t FQ but I still watch and learn something. I like how the 2 guest can play off of one another and create a good episode that keeps me watching throughout.

Please hear me when I say that when it comes to dating or falling in love with a Virgo make sure that you’re ready to deal with a mind that never rests. Virgos are extremely analytical 🧐 We’re very sensitive, intelligent, hard working, and strive hard to reach our goals, and calling Virgos liars isn’t a accurate description unfortunately she dated the wrong people who weren’t evolved or comfortable enough with themselves to be honest with her. I was introduced to Jaimee Balenciga in the documentary How Do I Look when she battled Octavia St. Laurent, and to hear Jaimee identity as a woman who’s Queer or Lesbian reaffirms her being a part of the community, but the other young lady Purp West isn’t a part of the community because she identifies as a straight heterosexual woman, so that antithetical to the whole ballroom scene. Also, Jaimee is a Virgo and I absolutely love that because flaws and all Virgos are absolutely fascinating 🥰, and I feel Jaimee is being totally candid and authentic which is something I appreciate. When Jaimee admitted that she once considered trans women men that was so refreshing because there’s so many biological women who wouldn’t admit that in this type of conversation. Purp West seems so disengaging and seems completely irritated with the whole conversation. I appreciate Purp West being honest about what happened with Asia that’s relevant to the interview. Jaimee should be acknowledged because she’s true to it and not new to it. Being introduced to her in the documentary How Do I Look solidify her contribution to the Ballroom scene. Lastly, FQ shouldn’t battle with Biological Women because it takes away from the adversity that trans women go through. Biological women that are a part of the LGBTQ community should have a category and space for themselves. Thank You So very much Jaimee Balenciaga for your contribution to the Ballroom scene before it became a trendy thing to do that’s commendable 👏🏾 Best wishes to Purp West and all her endeavors being a part of the Kiki scene continue waking it up 👍🏾 !!!!!
