I just started this podcast yesterday and I really love it, I found myself up at 5AM still watching lol. Just with these first 6 episodes alone I’ve seen y’all improve with holding conversations with each other and also with your guests. Y’all drop so many gems and have such a way with y’all words and making sure you accurately get your point across. I feel like that I’ve learned so much about not only trans women experience but just womanhood all around. Everyone’s personality just flow so well together and I find myself smiling throughout each episode cause y’all spirits are just so contagious and genuine. These conversations are so important for not only the LGBTQIA+ community but for society as a whole. There’s so much grace and respect overall between you all and it’s so inspiring. I come out feeling like I’ve learned so much in a short time span. Keep up the good work and conversations. I wish yall nothing but success, love and prosperity. Yall truly are pioneers 😘❤️

To transition anything literally means to change! Everything starts in the mind then the body follows we’re governed by our brains which prompts us to action so yes to be a Transgender person you have to become something different than your current state.

It's so upsetting that someone can receive nine years just for defending themselves and then be subjected to a distorted narrative, as if they were being discriminatory towards others in the LGBT community when they are actually a part of it. This is terrifying, but at least he shared his side of the story, which was definitely emotional and brought some tears.😢

If the woman in the leopard gown knew anything about ballroom history, she would know why Extravaganza is a latin house. Angie and Hector started the house because back in the day the black houses would not allow latin people to join their houses.

thank you so much for these podcasts, i ve been watching the past few weeks and the more i go on the more you tackle subjects that are so important. being the trailblazers of the Greek ballroom, a predominantly white scene so far, these topics are so valuable for all of us to be discussed, but also as white people who want to be aware of what white heteoropatriarchal institutions do to oppressed bodies. thank you so much, keep talking and educating 💛

There are so many things that need to be unpacked from this episode! All of the FQs have been in ballroom 15+ years, and nick as well! What is necessary is to understand Malik's position, as a person whom has been involved just over 10! The world has changed so much, and I really do agree with Asia of making the category for those whom don't want to be in the stereotypical bylaws of it! I really loved this episode so truly hats off to yall for digging deep! I do also agree with Malik, where when men evolve in the world, the category should evolve! I've seen Malik around NYC, and even before I remembered who he was, I was like "that's a man darling"! Realness is about how you show up every day, and daddy gives it! Nick's perspective is also very valid, and it needs to be understood deeper. Ballroom is founded off dismantling, yet assimilating into the patriarchy society we live in. So there are things that should remain/honor! Yet, make things your own. I have more to say, but wow! This was definitely my favorite episode
