Dear Father Abouna Anthony, i hv been watching ur preaching lately, n' last night i was so down, im even cry right now when im writing this n' this morning i wake up i dn't hv a mood to go out, with swollen eyes, so i decided to stay home, n' start to look for something which wl help me to forget my sadness, then i get one of ur amazing and hopeful preaching. the video above.I used to think God has totaly forgot about me, but now i know he is actualy with me. This is a sermon I’ve searched for all my life. God bless. I never understood how to reconcile our love and fear for Him but I realize yes it is awe for His glory and power and fear of His judgment yet faith in His mercy to a contrite heart.

Abouna ( Father) Anthony messeh is not protestant, he is a Coptic Orthodox priest. please know and take into consideration that his sermons are meant to keep "youth" attentive. he uses his great communication ability to joke, compare things to everyday things in teen-college life, use sports, to help our youth understand the word of God from their perspective. God bless him and his ministry... for I have benefit from his sermons during moments in my life when my crisis was bigger than my faith. his ability to explain God's word and will for us gave me peace.

+8ElionAdvancing8 Your message seems to me to be very judgemental and it doesn't show a spirit of godly love which the bible tells us is the most important thing in the Christian life. I feel that you are judging Fr. Anthony Messeh based on his enthusiasm as opposed to the content of his sermons, because if you actually listened to the sermons, you wouldn't say he's promoting a "lukewarm heretical form of protestantism". Everything he says is 110% Orthodox, and the fact that he presents it in a more youth-friendly way doesn't make it any less Orthodox. He is still promoting all the same sacred traditions that are valued in the Orthodox church.

I know and love my Orthodox faith. I assure you all Fr Anthony is an Orthodox priest and may our Lord and God Jesus Christ bless him and his family. The Coptic Church services are conducted little different from other orthodox Churches. A year ago, I saw this Christian brother who opened my heart, my soul, and subconscious and conscious by watching this video. I just happened to see this accidentally by looking into utube. When I got done watching this video, I was thinking about my faith, my family, my conduct in life. I was brought up Christian Catholic and started going because of brother Messeh. I now watch his videos and I am attracted to the Eastern churches and I wish there was one in Coachella Valley. God bless this brother and his family.

If his teachings do not please you. Please pray for us, Father Anthony, and heretics. Do not fall in to the devil's prison and send hate. If you feel uncomfortable, pray to our ever comforting God for comfort. And lean not on your own understanding, but seek the wisdom of God. Where there is division there is the devil. Reflect on what is causing you discomfort and anger and intentions... Lets not taint Our Holy Orthodox Church with division among members. Do not judge Father Anthony lest you be judged.

I dont even know how you can differentiate this preacher from the next, whether protestant, orthodox, etc, there is none of that in heaven....I personally just ask the Holy Spirit to do the rest and help me listen to the Word. Here we are trying to correct each other and possibly offending someone in the process ruining our spirit or those of others.

The main purpose of the Orthodox Church is to keep the truth alive in the world. So forget whatever you think you know and open your heart to the orthodox faith. The Orthodox faith is the true faith!
