Word To World Television presents “Amaravilla Convention - 2018”. Amaravila is a village in Neyyattinkara town in Trivandrum district, Kerala State, India. Amaravila CSI church is one of the major attractions of this place. It started as a small congregation in 1810, and currently it is the largest CSI church in Kerala, with three services (two in Malayalam and one in English). The church conducts a yearly convention which attracts a huge mass of people from south of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

* ലോകാ സമസ്ത: സുഖിനോ ഭവന്തു.* CHURCH ACT-2009 - വി.ആര്‍. കൃഷ്ണയ്യര്‍ സഭാസ്വത്തുക്കള്‍ വിശ്വാസികളുടേത് 1599 സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 24-)൦ തീയതി രൂപംകൊണ്ട ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ രാജ് എന്ന ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ വ്യാപാരകമ്പിനിക്ക് 15 കൊല്ലത്തേക്ക് കേപ്പ് ഓഫ് ഗുഡ്ഹോപ്പിനപ്പുറമുള്ള എല്ലാ രാജ്യങ്ങളുമായും വ്യാപാരം നടത്താന്‍ അവകാശം നല്കു ന്ന രാജകീയശാസനത്തില്‍ 1599 ഡിസംബര്‍ 31-)൦ തീയതി ഒന്നാം എലിസബത്ത് രാജ്ഞി ഒപ്പ് വച്ചു. 1600 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 24-)൦ തീയതി ഹെക്ടര്‍ എന്ന ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ പടക്കപ്പല്‍ ബോംബെക്ക് വടക്ക് സൂററ്റ് തുറമുഖത്ത് നങ്കുരമിട്ടപ്പോള്‍ ബ്രിട്ടിഷുകാര്‍ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ആധിപത്യം ഉറപ്പിക്കാനുള്ള തറക്കല്ലിട്ടു. 1947 ആഗസ്റ്റ്‌ 14 അര്ദ്ധടരാത്രിവരെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ്‌ പതാക ഓരോ ഭാരതിയന്റെകയും തലയ്ക്കു മുകളില്‍ ഗര്വോുടെ പാറിക്കളിച്ചു. 1961 ഡിസംബര്‍ 19-)൦ തീയതി പോര്ട്ടു ഗീസുകാരെ ഗോവായില്നിതന്നും അടിച്ചോടിക്കുന്നതുവരെ വിദേശാധിപത്യം ഇവിടെ നിലനിന്നു. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ജനത വിദേശാധിപത്യത്തിന്റെയ ചൊല്പടിക്കു മുന്പില്‍ മുട്ടുമടക്കി, തലകുനിച്ച് ഹല്ലേലുയ്യ - ഓശാന പിറുപിറുത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. 1599-ല്‍ പോര്ച്ചുഗീസ്സ് മെത്രാനായി വന്ന മേനെസിസ്‌ കൊച്ചി രാജാവിനെ സ്വാധിനീച്ച് ഉദയംപേരൂര്സൂലനഹദോസ് എന്ന പേരില്‍ ഒരു സമ്മേളനം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടി. സമ്മേളനപ്രതിനിധികളെ അക്ഷരാര്ത്ഥൂത്തില്‍ തോക്കിന്‍ മുനയില്‍ നിര്ത്തി ഭാരതനസ്രാണിസഭയുടെ ജനാധിപത്യരീതിയിലുള്ള പള്ളിയോഗക്രമങ്ങള്‍ അട്ടിമറിച്ച് മെത്രാന്‍ സര്വ്വാ്ധിപത്യമുള്ള പുരോഹിത സഭാഭരണം ഇവിടെ നടപ്പാക്കി. അന്നുമുതല്‍ ആത്മാഭിമാനമുള്ള കേരളസഭ റോമന്‍ ആധിപത്യവുമായി നിരന്തരം ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലിലാണ്. ഭാരതസഭയുടെ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട വ്യക്തിത്വവും ക്രൈസ്തവമൂല്യങ്ങളില്‍ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായ ജനാധിപത്യവും പുന:സ്ഥാപിക്കാനുള്ള പരിശ്രമത്തിലാണ് നാം ഇന്ന്. ജസ്റ്റിസ് വി .ആര്‍. കൃഷ്ണയ്യര്‍ ചെയര്മാ്നായിരുന്ന കേരള നിയമപരിഷ്കരണ കമ്മീഷന്‍ എല്ലാ ക്രൈസ്തവ വിഭാഗങ്ങള്ക്കും ബാധകമാകത്തക്കവണ്ണം 2009-ല്‍ CHURCH ACT ( The Kerala Christian Church Properties and Institutions Trust Bill ) എന്ന നിയമനിര്ദ്ദേUശം സര്ക്കാsരിനു മുന്പിiല്‍ സമര്പ്പി ച്ചു. ഈ നിയമനിര്ദ്ദേ ശം നിയമസഭയില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച് നിയമമാക്കി നടപ്പിലാക്കണമെന്ന് കേരള ക്രൈസ്തവര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ബൈബിള്‍ തത്വങ്ങള്ക്കും ഭാരതപാരമ്പര്യമായ വിശ്വാസികളുടെ പ്രതിനിധിഭരണരക്രമത്തിനും അനുസൃതമായി രൂപം കൊടുത്ത പ്രസ്തുത നിയമം പ്രാബല്യത്തില്‍ വരുത്തിയാല്‍ സഭാസ്വത്തുക്കളുടെ ഭരണം നിയമാനുസൃതവും ജനാധിപത്യപരവും സുതാര്യവും ആകുന്നതാണ് ഇന്ന് മെത്രാന്മാര്‍ മത്സരിച്ച് സഭാസ്വത്തുക്കള്‍ വിറ്റുതുടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു .ചര്ച്ച്വ ആക്റ്റ് നടപ്പായാല്‍ സഭാസ്വത്തുക്കള്‍ കൈവിട്ട് പോകുമെന്ന് അവര്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു
