I'm a drug and alcohol counselor. I work in a facility that is one step down from in-patient treatment. It is sometimes a challenging environment. I worked there two years and one of our senior clinicians was a minister. He radiated the peace and love of Jesus. I left that job, then came back. The minister no longer works there. But, I needed to find a way to do this job and the countenance of the minister kept coming back to me. He modeled they way without saying a word. So I went and found a church. I returned to God. I now try now to model the peace and love of Christ to my clients and co-workers.

I am a recovering addict, and I need to say that I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for people like you & God. My last counselor was more like an angel to me, she gripped me up out of living in such hell to being on the path of being in recover for 2 plus years. Your work is truly thankless work but please know people like me are here because of you. God is so close with us in our weakness and shame, and counselors are so close to God in he works with and through you to save others. ❤

I just listened to a talk about loving yourself and at the end of it all I could think is I’m not worthy to love myself. 1 minute into this talk my understanding totally reversed. It went from I am not worthy to love myself to I am not worthy NOT to love myself. Both talkers said basically the same thing but I believe this time God told me to be worthy of Me, you need to be worthy of yourself. If I kept on feeling I wasn’t worth Jesus living and dying for me, then He did it all for no reason. Thank You Lord Jesus and please help me live totally for you. 👏😇

If you're a catholic, you're definitely not good. 330,000 little boys in France were raped by 3,000 catholic pedophile priests, and it barely made the news, because people EXPECT that from catholics. Jesus said child rape was UNFORGIVABLE (Matt 18:6-14), and everyone who supported it will get eternal damnation. That means every single catholic.

I am a Chinese living in Hong Kong. I used to be a devoted Catholic but in 2016, a heresy Catholic lady approach me for a yr and I was influenced by evil spirits. The Church mistreated me and delay to give me a team to support and do excrosim. The excrosit , just one old priest in charge my case but he is very busy for secretary work and he just wrongly sent me to hosiptal and I was forced to eat 18 pills a day. Now, he finally believe me have evil spirit. I am under the evil control all the times , cannot awake and no freedom. i live alone, cannot take care myself properly, health, mind, bone all problem, please pray rosary and do fasting for me. I am suffering and just like in hell. God bless all of you . I look weird, please help me have a heart with Jesus. and beg Lord to send holy spirit to cast out all the demons and let my body become a holy temple again. I miss Jesus and just desire his true love. I am thirst.

Blessing Father Mike! This was such a powerful message. It’s challenging to bring up Jesus and God with anyone in my family, except for a handful of people. Even my own brother. I’ve been trying to get the message across as gently as possible. Sending Matthew Kelly videos, your videos, songs and prayers. They leave the room. They misinterpret the message and get offended. I just don’t know how to reach them. Do you have any advice? I don’t want to hound them after being rejected already. I think for unbelievers they are afraid to face God in their brokenness and shame. Maybe their angry at God and don’t understand. Maybe their afraid if they look to God, He’s going to ask them to change and their afraid and stubborn. I don’t know what it is… the reasons they’re so closed off to the possibility that God is real. But I know this is suffering for them and that’s why I want to let them know that through their suffering, more than ever, Jesus is there with them. He’s the savior now and forever. God is good. Alleluia!

Do not forget to love your brother, to pay attention to him, to let him be heard, to be considerate. Love builds the bridge for truth to cross over. If the only thing you do to be kind to him is evangelizing, it's gonna be difficult for him to see the full sincerity of it. Basically try to take the log out of your own eye first. And prayer!

The Humane Society does still save lives!... Just ask all the animals they still take care of. A furry Life.. is a Life... They basically became Animal Rescue places. However, it was awesome to hear how they started. Also I want to make a note, for people who are like me and aren't good at talking to people or socializing. Some of us are Not Aaron, but we are more like Moses.. slow of speech.... Find a group that is reaching out to bring people to the Church and work as a helper (even setting up or cleaning up)... Be the Help for those who speak! Or.. Pray yourself, or with a Prayer group praying for Conversions, and For those in the process of converting. I am not good at speaking, but I can help those that are.

yeah jesus didnt have a choice, he imposed this action upon humanity for rules he is the director and arbiter over. So jesus didnt do this for us, it was imposed upon us since the choice was removed for us to accept it and no one asked for it. Also, it wasnt a sacrifice because you cant kill an immortal and you can come up with a less barbaric process to hold people accountable to rules we didnt have a say in consenting to being accountable to. as similar as living in north korea. That's like saying its a sacrifice for someone with unlimited funds to pay your credit card when they literally own the credit card company as well as having unlimited funds. Living sentient creatures are the only ones able to offer sacrifice for a cause since we literally have no idea what happens after we die and we are not immortals. Funny how when all the graves opened up when jesus resurrected, none of the undead thought to tell anyone what happens after you die and no one thought to write down their testimony.
