This is so true. I had a tragic life. I was neglected because my 3 year old sister was killed when I was an infant and my mom couldn’t take care of me in her grief. I was bullied and sexually abused by a cousin who threatened to kill me. Looking back, I see Jesus’s hand everywhere in helping me survive until I could come to Him. I was received into the Catholic church in 2022 and later had a profound conversion experience where I discovered Jesus’s true presence in the Eucharist. I go to Mass nearly every day and have such joy in my life now. I am no longer afraid. I am in love with Jesus and there is nothing to fear. Wherever you are in life don’t give up. I am 58 years old and I never imagined that the joy I feel in Christ was possible. He is waiting for you!

Thank you, Farther Mike. I attended this Good News Conference and was so fortunate to be in attendance at this Mass. I loved your homily. "It could have been otherwise. It's not the end." "You have a new life, you have a new home." I cried throughout most of your homily. I felt as if you were speaking directly to me. Your homily truly resinated with me. I am so grateful for Word on Fire Institute for posting your homily; it gave me the opportunity to hear it again. Blessings to you. 🙏

Fr. Michael, thank you for all the podcasts where you've given the truth about our catholic faith . I really appreciate it for it gives the depth of our family. You speak so well we the simple people understand it . Please Fr. Pray for my two sons who do not go to mass anymore. I pray for them every day and I know that in God's timing they will come back to the fath . I am turning 71 in December and I would like to see both men come back to God our loving father before I die . May God bless your work of salvation and bless your family too . ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yes, there are many speakers who are very very good. And they deserve their props however, in some cases, he appeals to the younger group of Catholics that will be the future of the Catholic Church. That they find him insightful, and that he appeals to them at their level is his special gift. Now I’m a lot older and I was young along long time ago, but I certainly include him among the people that I listen to every day plus doing the. BIY the CI.Y. Along with making sure that I hear his Sunday homily. I am as I’ve said before I am well old enough to be his mother and then some, but there’s something about the smile that takes you in and in my case, at least reminds me of my own children who are adults and who have their own lives and are far away.

I remember my kids going to see Apollo 13 and having no idea that it was a true story. Even though commander levels oldest son had a restaurant was amazing food they just have been gone about a year I think and all these pictures you go up I said yes it certainly did spiral staircase, and all these pictures of he took in space and he took during Apollo 13 when it was really bad. I made reservations for dinner. That was where I decided to celebrate my birthday that year and commander Lovell was there, and he always greeted everybody. And I asked him before we were seated if I could take the kids up the spiral staircase and I said in his ear they didn’t know Apollo 13 was real. He was gracious and said go ahead, and the kids looked at all the pictures and they were stunned. We walked down and I said to the kids the man who Tom Hanks played in the movie. This is commander Lovell. This is the man that lived through the real thing that you saw Tom Hanks playing in a movie. They were just blown away. We went back a couple of times it’s expensive so it wasn’t very often but he always remembered the kids he said, do you believe her now? Pointing to me and being the one that explained to them that it was a real event that we were glued to our television sets until they were safely back home. They met Ron Howard during Backdraft. Hey fire chiefs, daughter 35 years in the fire service. You know I saw that movie twice once to work the fire and wants to watch it. I said this is the man who made Apollo 13. That sequence of events is something that I will never forget, watching my children grow up a little bit right in front of me.

I just clicked on the link to the Good News Conference, and all I gotta say is "You've got to be kidding!?" $2100.00 for a weekend event? Plus airfare, transfers, etc. Way overpriced. Most similar conferences (Catholic Identity Conference, e.g.) cost much less. Usually, $400-450 for the conference and then $125-150/night lodging.

@barbarawalsh28758 ай бұрын
This is probably the first or the second time you’ve ever heard him. Look at some other things that he does. He talks fast there’s no doubt about it, and I am forever telling him to switch to decaf, but I have seen very few men light of fire in a room like he can. The Lord is giving him a special grace and intellect to relate to people on all levels of intelligence and all ages. Simply put he is a blessing.
