Looks like very few truly go to "harder" difficulty because it requires you to continue the game after you finish it, for those who don't know, the game lets you continue playing for a "second run", enemies are tougher and some bosses have new patterns.

This isnt the hardest playthrough. When you complete it the first time you get to play it a second time around and it's much harder. The first end of level boss spits its plasma out diagnoally so it's much more difficult to avoid.

Nostalgia, played this when i was 8-yo, when it was too expensive for me to go to arcades and doesnt have the skill to barely beat boss 1 and get to 2nd boss
