You're welcome. There is a massive learning curve. The cool thing is you can just plug this thing and go for it which is why I made another video showing my 3 favourite presets. But if you want to tweak....well then this is a 'tweakers' dream. Thanks for your kind words and all the best with your foray into the AX8 world :D

How do I increase my sustain using a compressor? Especially on my low gainy tones.

Check your technique, strings, guitar setup etc before trying to use a compressor to give the illusion of more sustain.

man, I watch your videos and I like them. But for me you have to play with the guitar while showing this stuff. This is music,our ears are the commanders. Also it would be more appealing since you are very good explaining this stuff.

Cheers Ignacio. I often wondered about playing along with the tutorial but in the end I decided against it because I thought it would be better if guitarist's just did it themselves and experimented without being 'influenced' by my sound. In hindsight maybe it was the wrong choice.

Hi David. Thanks for that. I guess I'm paranoid about it being too loud. I'll look into creating a better level in my next video. Consider the sound balance a 'work in progress'. I've been improving things as I go. I'll make sure it's louder next time.
