Dear burgs, are them switches engage immediately on downpress tap or only upon release for presets&scenes? If not, can we customize to change it so, as in the F switch with the AX8?

Hey Burgs, very cool. My worry is I don't think I would live long enough to learn how to use all that stuff. I'm struggling enough just trying to sound half decent with just a guitar and amp and a couple of basic pedals..... My point is, can anyone learn this stuff easily, or do you need to have the level of experience and tallent you have to do it? It looks like so much fun, but then you start talking about scenes and pages and my head starts to melt. I do love the sounds you make with that new fangled gadget though.....

I use an Axe Fx 2 and MFC. Whilst I really like the idea of a smaller controller like this, all the dual function button capability seems like it would be a bit of a headache in the realities of a gigging situation. Would be interested to know how users are finding it........I’d still need to get an AXE FX 3 in any case which is not likely to happen for a while at least. Good video though.

Brett, Dean from Canada here. Love your videos, thank you! Do you prefer amps or do you actually prefer the axe fx 111 for live gigs? Do you prefer real cabs or frfr cabs like the matrix? Do you think the FC-6 could accommodate you for most gigs with 6 switches?

Hi Burgs, are you running a new beta version of Axe-Edit III? The current release version doesn't have support for the FC-6 yet, just says "coming soon" when clicking on the FC Controllers button.....

It is a beta, yes. I'm sorry, I should have pointed that out but the truth is I'm so used to loading and using betas that I just forgot. However, it's very stable so I imagine a release will be forthcoming shortly.

at $499 its a bit on the pricey side making the whole package nearly $3000 US! My pedal board is currently $5000 US second hand! So actually I can see why the pricing is as such.

You wouldn’t really buy this to be a midi controller anyway. Its pretty expensive for that size and gets its power from the Axe3 and AxeEdit 3
