I like to wait for confirmation based on what D, W, M I use. If I use the daily, I will wait a few days for confirmation. If I look at the weekly, then I will wait a week or two for confirmation. I'm not a day trader but, trade around a core group of 30-35 stocks I follow (only a few at any given time). Love the details here and it's always great to get a refresher as learning never stops in any profession or business. Bottom line, agreeing with you, patience is mandatory in order to not act on impulse. I subscribed. TIA

As the patterns won't be as perfect and symmetrical in the real market, one has to use some of the adjustments to see the patterns. And some of them completely different outcome patterns can really mix up and confuse the traders, like the Double bottom W pattern and triple top pattern.

Going to start trading soon thanks to videos in addition to other resources and tools. I could have jumped into it earlier this year and likely did okay, though my understanding was minimal, I had enough to figure it out. Now, after spending tons of hours watching, listening, and doing mock trades (using a notepad, not sure there is a program available), I have decided to start trading, though I plan to trade more long term since the market is bullish at the moment.
