why do people find the need to label everything, labels have only ever brought us hate, pain and war's. Life is about feeling what's around you in the moment, and been at peace with one's self. Music makes us all feel something deep inside that no amount of science could ever explain. Live Life, Love Life.

Same thing here Skrillex's music was the first dubstep I ever listened to, and it led me to many other kinds of dubstep. I give Skrillex a lot of credit because I think that he has brought a lot of positive attention to dubstep. I don't know why so many other dubstep fans seem to discredit him.....

Lyrics can be used to convey meaningful ideas in a powerful and even emotionally charged way. While I personally listen to more instrumental pieces than anything, I have appreciation for powerful lyrics. Instrumental is not always better, it just usually is. Everything has its time and place to shine, including music with lyrics.

So many people in the comments are commenting about .., nothing... They are all saying the same thing, blah blah blah philosophical blah blah blah thought provoking... But the best are the simple ones, stating things relating to the music, or the picture used, not how everyone is an idiot and we must repent -.-
@sthoverthere11 жыл бұрын
I agree. but. with 7 billion people on the world and not that few of them having philosophical thoughts repetion is imminent. that doesn't make their thoughts less aphoristic for each of those individual beings. more thinkers. availability through the internet. originality is being questioned because we feel everything can already be found elsewhere. but as long as you made it up yourself, it's original, even if someone did it before.
@dom178511 жыл бұрын
It's interesting to "people watch"; read others comments in Sheeepy's videos. All of these songs are very thought-provoking. Though, I would suggest that while philosophical dialectics to life are wondrous; they're turning stale. Just take a look at the paragraphs upon paragraphs pushing the same message in a rephrased manner. I'm not "hating", just hoping that people will move away from proclivity. There are a million ways to tell a maxim. Doesn't mean it becomes an aphorism if you rephrase it.

You make smoking weed sound like smoking DMT or some shit. If anything, it makes you feel more in tune with the world, more aware, when used properly of course. A lot of people use it to block out a lot of stuff when really thats the exact opposite of what it should be used for. Using it to be more aware of things and seeing things in a different light, sometimes as they really are, feeling things differently and for the better, etc. sorry not trying to lecture just kind of rambling lmao :p
@Alzeryon12 жыл бұрын
Five minutes of research and reading will show that there are, in fact, negative side effects. Your earlier comment that it is "completely risk free" is totally bogus. There are short term side effects similar to tobacco. There are cancer risks. Addiction is partly indicated by withdrawal symptoms, albeit for a shorter period of time than other drugs. The research and debate is somewhat split on marijuana, but there are obvious risks. Being ignorant of that does no one favors.
@stoffni12 жыл бұрын
You are talking about something you don't actually have much knowledge about. You are basing your "knowledge" of marijuana on what others have told you. Most likely people who use Marijuana themselves. You have a biased set of "facts". I suggest you delve further into the studies around marijuana before stating false facts. I may also add that marijuana is addictive. Read up on the TYPES of addictions that exists. Thank you.
@DjVylex12 жыл бұрын
You understanded that wrong. It's true, our mother earth is the true heaven everybody is comparing with. But it's not only viewable with chillstep or what so ever called. If you let all the glory, all sounds of the Animals, vehicles, noises, just everything let flow with eachother, you can feel and barely touch this pure love that connects all on this planet. It only matters on YOUR matter of perspective. Be Love. Be Light. Live in Peace with all that exists. Be Alive.
@fireglue12 жыл бұрын
The very essence of a powerful harmony is what separates us all from the rest. We all experience it differently because we were all molded by life differently. We take our emotions from the past or our hopes for the future and paint a mental picture with this heavenly harmony to go along with it. Whether or not you are in a state of brokeness or a state of fullness, it's music like this that makes it all worth while. It's music like this that brings us together. The heavenly music of solitude.
@RealTrueTarget12 жыл бұрын
There's filthstep, which makes you want to do what you've mentioned for sure, then there's the good ole chilling dubstep that's been around for a long time, then theres the kinda hard dubstep with great drops but certainly not filthy and then theres chillstep which makes you want to hug everything.
@sunstripe11 жыл бұрын
I dunno, I like connecting with the artist on a more personal level. Plus it's not always someones thoughts being injected. Some artists, like Fox Stevenson, formerly known as Stan SB, uses lyrics but never tells the meaning of them because he lets everyone who listens to his songs interpret them in their own way...... AKA, "relatively interpreted" ;)
@blokhdaniel11 жыл бұрын
Dissecting these images is fun. In this one, the tree symbalizes someone reaching for something just out of their reach. It seems nearby, yet competitively taken, oh so far away. It can see even a bit of that for which it is reaching, feel the rays of it on it's face. It will never get to it, of course. But forever it will try.
@HashNtheBox11 жыл бұрын
Idk Lil wayne is pretty bad, granted he has a few good tracks, but none of them hold up to the O.G. artists. And he still has the nerve to call himself the greatest rapper alive. I've seen more lyrical talent in a mute. Either way music isnt how it used to be, but songs like this give you hope that one day music will be like how it used to be... Music
@OfficialSlarrick11 жыл бұрын
I believe the only bass sound present in this song is a standard "sub bass" which you could make on any synthesizer. You can never go wrong with Native Instruments' Massive for making bass sounds though. Most professional electronic musicians use either FL Studio or Ableton Live to compose their music although there are various options. Hope this helps
@JoraniusMinecraft11 жыл бұрын
Electronic isn't made for much more than a few epic words with echo on them or something else, otherwise it's just some silly shit, but Fracx here knows how to make us all go back in our seats, so much, that 16 people have accidentally hitted the dislike button, due to shaking hands caused by extremely awesome music!
@WormholeGlover12 жыл бұрын
Because there are so many positive benefits to smoking it. The real question is, in today's day and age, why are so many people still against it? I feel we've come to a point where the false stereotypes about marijuana should be left behind. People need to open their eyes to the truth and wake up. Spread the love.
@Sandsack231112 жыл бұрын
I don't have a problem with skrillex, I appreciate his music too, sometimes. But still the fanbase of most 'mainstream' dubstep producers, so I'm talking about less chilled than this i.e., have a fanbase that seems not to be able to just not insult each other, so even if Skrillex should not get all the hate there still is some truth in psyminds words :/
@GoldenTorpedo12 жыл бұрын
But the stuff you are talking about isn't at all dubstep which is funny...hahaha. New kids thinkin' that their mainstream brostep crap would ever be dubstep-teir. Look at Skream, Benga, and Coki because you're obviously new to the genre. I'm not hating at all, or trying to be a douche, but calling Skrillex dubstep is like calling Ludwig Van Beethoven hip-hop.

well about soulless we could argue, as in most of those electronic music tracks, that is in sheeepy's channel, is owerflown with emotions, you can feel taht artist put entire soul in every track in it. so what that is electronic, it still can have soul.

But you can't say there aren't exceptions. Skilled rappers don't even try to be louder than background music (which is created by themselves). Anyway, the greater percentage are black chops and sing how much money they have got. Let them be behind the scenes.
@reaver1112211 жыл бұрын
I will agree that these electronic composers have talent (especially Fracx) but metal music is where the talent's at. You watch Steve Harris' fingers when he plays that bass, or Oli Herbert stepping on the frets. Beautiful to watch
