To me, this represents people passing away. The star fading away seems like their life force. When they get on the tram, it is them 'moving on.' You get the feeling that the people just know when to get off the tram, because people that died before them will be there. When they reconnect to their loved ones, like the man and woman or the adult and child, you can see their life force come back. I feel like this shows that our connections with each other is what keeps us alive, even in death. Interestingly, each of these people have been on the tram before, as they don't seem surprised or curious about their surroundings, like the young girl, and they each have tickets that have been stamped multiple times. Perhaps they had to make some sort of resolution before they truly passed on with their loved ones. The young girl here isn't so fortunate. Maybe she never had anyone close to her, or maybe she died too early, because she doesn't know where to get off tram. Time is represented as her enemy, like when she is passing through the land with all the grandfather clocks or the bells in the tram itself that seem to signify that her time is up. This is especially shown when the bells in the tram are destroyed. It is like the 'end of the line' for her. However, there is some hope. When she finds the glowing figure, I find that it represents how she is disconnected from her life force. When they walk away together, perhaps it is to find her resolution so that she can move on. What I find interesting is that all the other people on the tram would have had the same experience as the young girl. After many trips on the tram, many meetings with their life force, and many attempts to find resolve, they finally have the chance to move on. The question is, how long did it take to find their resolve? You can tell that every other person on the tram has been through this process before, and each of them have found their resolve and are about to move on. So why is there such a large sense of melancholy? Perhaps the amount of time taken to find their resolve has crushed their spirits, as it will with all of us, and they are just finally happy to move on. Perhaps they know that once they find their resolve, they get to experience one last moment of joy before they move into non-existence. Or perhaps, they realise, that once everything is finally over, they live an endless existence of nothingness. They want to keep finding, to keep discovering. They want to keep going and never reach a destination. But everything must come to an end. The journey will be over at some point. And when it is, what will become of these people? Even though they are reconnected with their loved ones and their life force, I feel as if this is a 'sad ending.' Mainly because of the uncertainty they must be feeling. The truth is they don't know what will happen after they reconnect, they just know it is something that must be done. Even the title, "fragments of the past," implies that these people can only reflect on what they have done before death and during the journey to find their resolve. Their is nothing ahead of them, just endless contemplation. Perhaps they are disappointed about how they lived their lives, and wished they could have done something more. But in the end, it is beyond their control. They are powerless. The video description talks about the girl yearning to make a connection in a distant yet strangely familiar world. I find that this fits my interpretation quite nicely. The world is distant due to it being the afterlife, but it is familiar because she knows, deep down, that once she finds her resolve, her loved ones will be there. She will suffer the same fate as everyone else on the tram. It will be a burden and a comfort. But, in the end, it is something that must happen. After all, nothing can last forever, not even time. Another interesting thing is the fact that it seems to be forever snowy and cold. It represents the afterlife as being dark and unfriendly to the unfamiliar. In the end, only those we know and care about can bring us comfort, in life and in death.

My past is broken. Filled with torture, trauma, loneliness, desperation, cruelty, injustice, health problems and sadness. And today I keep all of these memories as everything that defines me. I can't do anything without a single fragment of the past being persistent in my present. Everyone is trying to find purpose and love in their life. For some, it happens sooner. For others, it takes more time, more obstacles need to be overcome. You'll find yourself in a mixed up yet familiar world trying to scour out what might be ahead for you, but where your life may take you could be unknown, or unexpected. It may look straight ahead, but to your goal of love, there will be something hidden, something you cannot see or overcome until you realize it. Only then, through much obstacles and much time, the one you've been looking for will be right at the end to literally shine the dark and surrealistic world around you. That's what this video means to me.

Hard Boiled Aleks Not to sound cliche, but I am completely serious - Jesus has helped me in ways I cannot articulate. We are ALL flawed and have fallen short of God's perfection, his holiness. Jesus bridges that gap. Accepting that I cannot live a truly good life on my own was the first step, and the beautiful thing is we don't have to because Jesus was a real person who really died after living a perfect life so that after this life is over and we are held up to a perfect standard, we will pass because Jesus covers us. He makes it so easy for us, yet I KNOW MYSELF it is so hard, to surrender my own desires and just accept his gift of life. This is real. Love is real.

Many years ago I got introduced into the world of EDM, just by clicking on a youtuber intro. The first ever song that went through my ears was Moonbeat - Lullaby. Curiosity got the best of me, and I went deeper through this strange genre, where I came across the song The Chainsmokers - Don't Let Me Down (T-Mass Remix). The beautiful sound design instantly got me hooked, causing me to go on a 1 hour spree on TN finding anything that caught my attention. Then days later I found out about the good ol' Future House genre. Then for some reason, months later, I started to forget about the genre... Fast forward years later, I came across TN again when I was bored out of my mind during the pandemic. The first song that I clicked on after many years was Deadcrow - Control. I was intrigued on how futuristic and interesting it sounded, and at thought I was like "damn I seemed to have missed a lot during my absence". This has led me going on a 4 hour spree finding anything that's either Trap, Future Bass, Hardwave, Future House, Melodic Dubstep etc. Now I have over 2400 songs in my playlists thanks to that. CMA listen, I have heard countless tracks during my life, but this might just be the most beautiful song that I have ever heard. The melody is so angelic, and I especially love the part of the children where it seems like they are in an indoor pool transitioning to a park setting (atleast thats what I see it as). More people need to hear this. Keep up the good work CMA, your music changes lives.
