This whole EP is amazing, just as the whole band is. Gahhhh! The raw emotions!!! I’ve never been so submerged in a band before, but I am wholeheartedly obsessed! Started listening to them a couple years back and am so happy they made their big break!

About a girl is a song so damn powerful, I cannot finish listening music with it because it makes me so sad and nostalgic... It gives me so much emotions... The lyrics are powerful but the music in it self have something... I do not know what, but it gets me. Music that provokes joy, energy, I know plenty of them, but this kind of feeling ? Nostalgia ? It probably the first one. I know solely a few song that are as powerful for me... Tower from avatar that scares me (but such a powerful masterpiesces) or L'Ecole de la Rue from Guérilla Poubelle (that gives me so much joy!!) The combinaison of lyrics and music it's something ! Aaarg I'm just rephrasing again and again myself ! It makes me lose my world... C=

I like this band. My being around for longer than these guys, and the majority of their fans. I must say I hear all their influences. They remind me of a combination of bands through the years. When I saw the title, I thought it would be a Nirvana cover. About a Girl. I really like this band. Wow. Talented. And cute too.

The EP was self released, so it was likely an exclusivity deal when they signed with Big Machine. Strangely enough it's still on Bandcamp albeit under The Cartunes.

This confused the hell outta me, the song "alot to say", sounds like something off country radio now, just goes to show that country artists are only poor twangy imitations
