Sadge - the DSR-1 (Resolver) doesn't utilize the reserve mag unlike in 2042... I'll say there's some good stylizing in play here. Some anims are smooth while some are a little janky but serviceable.

Superb animation work, but god I am sick to death of contemporary weapons- it's especially egregious when you have a Sci-Fi setting that has the potential for literally ANYTHING and yet they still model the same, tired 40-year old guns like the Deagle and AR-15s. You're basically watching the same animations as every other game too, which does a huge disservice to how good these animators are when you've seen the same gestures in 5 other games. The tacky camos ruin any aesthetics the guns would naturally have as well- I don't know why developers still think people like them, but maybe they do, and I'm the wrong one.

Depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re expecting Call of Duty then no. It has a TDM but it functions more like Valorant or CSGO’s TDM. It’s more for the Valorant and CS crowd but a bit more on the arcade side gun fight wise. There’s a lot of skill chains and strategy you can do with you op kit and your teammates as well. Personally I enjoy it

Uses a lot of camera movement that hides the actual movement of the animations. Also, I love pretend tactical reloads that make the magazine that was just removed from the gun instantly disappear the moment it goes off screen. There's absolutely no way anyone had time to put that back in a pocket. It makes me think the guy is just dropping the mag on the ground, which is humorously self-defeating.

the optics seem too busy for a lot of them and no use at all, just the random bits would get in the way. the pistol is not fitting 18 bullets into that small mag. the drum mag shotgun has 12 shells in the whole drum? that's so redundant and makes no sense. bad reputation or space svd has a single stack mag that has no way of fitting 15 bullets inside. bad moon has a rock in mag animation like it's an ak but should probably be the usual straight in thing. but overall pretty slick reloads that aren't your typical call of dooty

It's one of those things where the autoshotgun has to look like... well, _a shotgun,_ so it has a drum. But a 20-round mag isn't fun for other players to deal with in multiplayer so they gotta nerf it. It's what's _always_ annoyed me about the EVA-8 in Titanfall 2.

Hard to balance weapon Mitigation recoil is too op for a MP games (ik that Insurgency Sandstorm and EFT had those but that's slow pace game)
