There are these squeeze bottles that chem labs do where you can control the exact amount of flow while keeping the bottle upright, it’s for work that you’re pretty much doing here! They’re super cheap (~$4), u should check them out too

Yes I work in a lab with those kind of bottles. They are called wash bottles on Amazon ($6 ish). They would probably be much easier to aliquot with as you can hold it upright and squeeze!

@@ginacuneo that's not what they are referring to. i think what they are referring to i found googling "bottle top dispenser" which you set the volume you need to dispense and then it dispenses the same amount every time.

this also makes me think of those high tech pipette things, where it only dispenses the set amount every time. they’re probably more expensive, but if this is the OP’s job, it could be worth the investment to just push the one button and get the right amount every time.

Giant syringe is better. No spills at all. I use a 150 ml syringe for filling extract and tincture bottles.

You can use thread tape (for plumbing) to create a good seal on the bottles. My mom learned the trick for tie dye from another person a couple years ago.

Fun fact these squeeze bottles are also great for mixing acrylic paints, keeping a (fully cooled!) dye mixture you want to use again, and making things like toners and hair rinses.

I have those same condiment bottles and they're WAY better than the Dollar Tree ones bc they have flat topped necks that create an even seal w/ the cap. If u do need some cheap ones in a pinch try sanding the tops--sand paper on a flat surface, bottle upsidedown rubbing on it. And try diff caps w/ diff bottles in the pack. I made some very leaky $tree ones 95% leakproof that way.

A clear piece of tubing on that tip. Will extend the spout. Less dripping. (fish dept. or pet store) Large volume syringe also works well.

You can probably find a top like the tops on machine oil bottles so you dont have to tip it to make it work. Also, a pump bottle might also work well for this

I like the squeeze bottles that have the long angled straw-like applicator, and it has a straw inside that goes to the bottom like a spray bottle, and you just squeeze the sides and a stream comes out lol someone jog my memory, is there a special name for that kinda bottle? My tattoo artist uses them 😅

Remove the plastic cap when you get it and the fragrance will diffuse through the wooden lid. The plastic cap is for shipping purposes
