I’m not the only person that didn’t like Ysl Libre intense but I love the Ysl Libre original EDP. I returned the intense and I’m a vanilla lover

... you see how that works!? I couldn't stand the EDP, but love all of the flankers💯 scent will always be subjective based on personal preferences & taste! As long as you love it- everyone else's thoughts on it are pretty irrelevant! Thanks for watching!

Unfortunately fragrances are very subjective. For instance to MY nose Gucci Flora Orchid smells like gummy bears/worms candy. Everybody else on KZbin is saying it's "vanilla bomb". I'm like where, where is the bespoke vanilla ???? It's not there??? For me. So either my nose is broken or we smell different things.

I wouldn't call the Gucci Gorgeous Orchid a vanilla bomb in the least. I would call it an introduction to a light gourmand vanilla... a flormond if you will. That vanilla is definitely there, but it's sheer & not the star player, that'd be the orchid. I feel the vanilla to be most prominent in the dry down but still light in comparison to the floral note. That is the fact of life though... We definitely smell things differently.

So true , 2020 started my niche awakening 😂😂 we all know why that yr lol but I learned after one of the most loved scents in frag com was a No for me and my taste , sample , sample , sample 💯 but Memo Sintra , looooove this scent now but when I first received a decant all I could smell was pettigrain , that note overtook the fragrance and kept going back to it and now all I can smell is a sweet fluffy gourmand delicious scent that I absolutely love , so even a fragrance can change to us over time and it's fun finding our true loves ❣

Absolutely! I think sometimes people assume the majority enjoying it will also mean they do, but they may be that one out of the hundred that's like NAH I do not like this or it's not for me! The more you sample, the easier those "disappointments" become, especially in fragrances you thought you would love! Great advice, especially for the new fragrance lovers looking for tips! 💯 I try not to simply push a fragrance off as I love it, but but also give the side of where I could also understand why somebody would not like it.

My biggest problem that I’m trying to get past is if I see a lot of people love something and I don’t like it I try to force myself to change my mind. Trying to learn what we love can sometimes be hard

You should never be afraid to communicate if you do or do not like something, especially on public platforms… I feel like there are times where brands expect the compliment sandwich regarding their products, hoping that they'll be sold quickly before anything negative is said... versus people just really being honest so that they have what information they REALLY need to improve their products: HONESTY. Everything won't be for everyone and that I accept & understand. Even if the majority says they like it and you don't, that is your truth & if they don't like it- too bad. Thank You... I am a former MAC cosmetics artist (old skool- not new 😂💯) and product specialist so sometimes I know what I'm doing ;o)... I'm just old.🙃😂 Thanks for watching!💜
