Fragrance in Aqua Cast - Wardrobe Fresheners - Adding Beautiful Designs

In today’s video I will be seeing what happens when I add fragrance to my Aqua Cast mixture and I will be using my scented pieces to create wardrobe fresheners. Also see how I added the beautiful flower design to add some detail.

What a great idea to use the fragrance. Thank you. It's really good to know about the rub ons. They look beautiful. I had tried nail decals on my puffy hearts but had to resort to using mod podge, so it was a faff. Lovely tutorial and much appreciated x ❤

Thank you xx it works with plaster of Paris too but it needs a lot longer to dry out and doesn’t take pigments very well.

I'm waiting on a delivery of Aquacast, haven't used it before but it seems to be more cost effective than the other ones i've tried. Definitely going to try these. Did the scent last long ?

I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately no the scent didn’t last long (about two weeks) but it can be topped up 👍

Brilliant! I usually utilize the miserably hot Dog Days of Summer to make special, personalized gifts for a few dear friends. Once it's 95⁰ I remain indoors. No more hospitalization due to heat exhaustion for me. I could add initials to the hearts, add a lingerie hanger and a fluffy monogrammed robe = nice gift. Thank you for the creative idea Louise. I will stockpile supplies so I am ready. Question - with the polymers is Aqua Cast strong or brittle? I would shipping 2 sets to Canada, just thinking about the perils of shipping. Thx again!

I understand that Aquacast is stronger than Epoxy Resin. I haven't tried yet though.

GA Lady I am so happy to have inspired such wonderful ideas, who would have thought that my video could keep someone out of hospital! That’s ace! Yes Aqua cast is very strong, especially in thick items like this. If you made a thin plaque or bookmark it might break if dropped on a hard floor but when it’s thick, it’s strong.

I add a couple of drops of essential oils to the finished pieces as the aqua cast is porous

Hi Louise how can i found out the exact amount of aquacast to use on a certain mould?

Hi, if you put your mould on your scales and fill it with water to find the volume in grams you can then go onto the Aqua Cast page on Elichem’s website and input the weight into the online calculator. It will tell you the exact amount of water and powder you need. I would recommend adding 5 grams to the weight you enter into the calculator because it is so exact that you will find yourself trying to scrape every last bit out of your mixing container.

Thank you ❤️ I like it better than Jesmonite because it has a longer working time but as far as the finished result goes, I don’t find there to be any difference.
