Steve, I have to admit, I thought you were losing it when you started to break up the hearts you had made, and yet I couldn't look away! But after watching for a bit longer I realised that I owed you an apology! You created such beautiful hearts with the coloured resin and the Resincrete! They came out so beautifully, and I love how unusual they looked. I've never seen anything even slightly similar online. You continue to surprise and impress me Steve. I'm sorry I ever doubted you. God bless you and all those you love.

I'm with you Carly. When he started breaking it I thought now they looked so cute whhhyyyy he is messing it up. But I should have known he was going to make them look even more amazing. Thank you Steve and thanks for the code!!! Im definitely going to try this

Steve, go to the hardware store, get a large and small window squeegee. They are fantastic at swiping across molds to clean up the over pour. Also great for large trays with lettering and details you want to add paint to.

This is a beautiful project. Thank you for another idea! Even though you didn't want the resin slipping under the pieces, I thought it gave an interesting look. Mmmmm....

All these hearts are gorgeous Steve. Thank you so much for all your work and all your videos. I really enjoy them and I take everything in, it might not stay at first but I try. I have to watch and listen to things a few times these days to have things sink into my brain. That’s what happens I guess when you get older. I do eventually take it all in though so thank you cos I’m beginning to learn a lot from you.

I like tack it over and over glue. I learned of it from Lindsey, the frugal crafter here on YT for making rubber stamps work like unmounted stamps on acrylic blocks. I also use it to make my own glue dots, especially to hold miniatures in place in my mini houses.

I got my Resincrete and love it! However, I've tried different micas, alcohol ink, resin Tint, and and can't get a bold color at all (including trying this black that I only need a drop to get black resin). I haven't tried acrylic paint yet. What do you find tints the best for bolder colors?

So I have a question. You mentioned sealing he resincrete heart fragments so the resin wouldn't soak in and "spoil it". Just wondering how resin soaking in would spoil it, wouldn't that only make the resincrete part even stronger and bond the two materials all the better? Perhaps the colored resin would have color bleed in?? Id be curious to see what that may look like, may be kind cool? Would love to see your attempts at some larger geode type resin creations. I tried one and it was a blast looked great but was certainly more challenging to get a specific 'look' and just had to 'go with it' haha End result looked great! Great job! Love watching you craft away! :)

Interesting fact about the tacky glue, to stick something down in the mold AND how it resists the resin that seeps under! And how it feels and cleans right update! I have a different brand of that, so will try it next time for those uses. Thank you😸. I live in France, many of the newer powdered resins (Aqua cast, jesmonite, resin crete, etc.) don't seem to be available here. Not sure how Customs works now since Brexit. So I'll keep searching for like items around here and in the EU...
