FRAGRANCE REVIEW: Scent Memory 2023

I've been a fan of Scent Memory Fragrance for a while and as I start to add more and more of their high quality oils to my product line I wanted to share a new review video with you! These are a mix of new and old oils that they have had and I've had my eye on but I wanted to share if you are on the hunt for a well rounded mix of quality oils for your candle or soap business in 2023!

I love SM FO’s and just dropped quite a lot of money for more! SM’s Fraser Fir is THE BEST CHRISTMAS TREE FRAGRANCE, PERIOD! I’ll blend oils in a heartbeat, so don’t concern myself with being duped, lol! I use the Vanille Absolute to blend, it’s lovely! I “think” the Hygge thing may be an old folksy kinda thing, but not sure? Masala is a type of South Asian chai that originated in India. I didn’t know either, so I looked it up. Now we both know? You crack me up and I LOVE that you call BS when you feel an FO isn’t for you. 😂 We just know when we love or hate an FO. Thank you Ashley, much love to you and your family!🙏🏻❤️🕊😢

Love this, thank you! Curious thought from a business stand point, I know you were a big makesy fan at one point… have you tried to branch out more because of their price points? I’m semi rebranding and going more lux and I feel like although I love SM, makesy quality is truly unmatched for the most part but i also as a business owner of course want to be conscious of cost… curious of any advisement from your POV as you run a successful candle biz 😊 so inspired!

Great question! Yes, I have branched out in some areas and in others I'm staying true. I actually just placed my first FO order with Makesy today for the first time in a LONG time with some of their new luxe for less that I'm interested in. I agree, they have a chokehold on strong, quality scents but I will say, if anyone is a close second in my book and sometimes first... it's Scent Memory!

I’ve been avoiding vanilla because I have a bad relationship with it but you may have convinced me that I need to think about what people want and not just what I like. I agree that when buying in line people want to know what they are getting. I don’t love Maksey scent names for this reason. I don’t want people thinking “what the hell is that scent? Never heard that word.”

You will need to to check with each fragrance and what it's intended use it but most should be applicable with regards to room spray!
