Just received this today - love at first spray!! Think it’s gonna be amazing in a few weeks, quite a feminine, powdered rose. I get the rose, citrus, ylangylang, orris, sandalwood, oakmoss and civet, with perhaps a touch of the fig. I got a sample of imperium and loved it, then got a bottle of divine asylum. Now it seems sickly sweet but it's supposed to be a summer freshie... got another sample of Imperium coming so I can compare a bit more :)

Hey can you get into the house of Alexandria fragrances because they have a lot of dupes that smell identical to the original. I have burj khalifa (amber aoud) from AF and it smells wonderful. Also have side effect, DHP, black phantom, lost cherry, black afgano etc and they smell spot on!

@@SnoopyRu1980 bought this for £21. The bottle looks nice and it's a show-off for your collection but the juice inside the bottle is disappointing. It will smell nice after 10 sec of spray and after 20mins it's just a normal cheapy smell stuck with you.

I bought Divin Aoud and I was so excited for this purchase but once I received this cologne it has to be the worst smelling fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I sprayed it on my skin and it made my wife gag and my kids wouldn’t come near me they wouldn’t even come in the same room as me 😂

I have to agree, Divin Asylum needs to sit. When I got mine, it performed like 3 hour max.. very disappointed. BUT after it sat for a month, it now performs from 6-8 hours on skin, I'm amazed now! LOL Perhaps for me, the best clone outside of the Armaf CREW (Aventus, MI, SMW, BDC, BR540)

It’s just pronounced oud no matter the spelling. The spelling is different from brand to brand to capture the Arabic pronounciation of the word oud.

@@obrooksjr3 No worries. I only have six Roja OGs, the cologne/parfum releases. Love them all. I have 28 Roja clones, to include a few clones of my OGs. They are just so astronomically expensive, and/or were only made once in small batches, that it's the only way I can do it. It's interesting to watch vids where he describes how he comes up with an idea, starts putting it together, and goes through the complex process.

I have a bottle of Divin Asylum and it's my current favourite fragrance. It's an excellent clone of Roja Elysium. I have the original Elysium and I use Divin Asylum a little more. It's an expensive clone but a very high quality fragrance.

For what it’s worth, I’m buying from the Roja house just to support their fragrance development. Clone houses have it easy, they just need to copy what already exist and pump it out at lower costs. While these houses have to test and release their fragrances. If it works, they make a profit, if it doesn’t then they’re swallowing their failure. The hard work they put in will just be for nothing. I do support some clone houses for making discontinued scents, that’s something that I would like them to do more often, then again it’s a numbers game. And even clone houses only want to clone what sells quick. 🤷‍♂️

Elysium and Creation-E etc. Outside of that, the prices for their higher end perfumes seem marketed more towards the snobs with money, rather than you’re average frag collector.

Roja stopped writing Roja on the side of their bottles, I just bought Musk Aoud and Aoud directly from the Roja site and neither have Roja written on them like the older bottles I have.

Both Divin dupes are trash especially Longevity. Don't waste your time. Grab Ministry of Ouds "Amber Oud" It's a better version of Divin auod. If you know how ministry of Ouds clone of Mfks Oud satin is then you know what I'm talking about. Everything from the ministry of Oud line bangs.. 90-95 percent close in all dupes and longevity too is a no brainer...
