I have both and unfortunately Varakh Silver is 65% close Gentle Fluidity Silver. Fluidity Silver reminds you of a gin and tonic or a refreshing drink. Varakh reminds you of the forest and woods. Juniper berries have a different scent than cypress. Cheaper fragrances go with pine and cypress while the niche brands actually do a great job at capturing the scent of juniper berries

Just picked up Varakh Silver. I won’t lie I was NOT expecting a niche Platinum Egoiste. I thought it would be something more citrusy, maybe along the lines of Chanel Allure Blanche or Imagination lol. As much as I dislike Platinum Egoiste, I’m def gonna be rocking this one. I’d like to see a video about “Frags (OG or Clones) that have changed drastically with maceration.” Maybe you can mix in some tricks that can speed up maceration or alter the frag. I saw a thread on Reddit where the ppl were talking about something they did to tone down the screechy citrus in CDNIM and I’ve also heard getting air in the straw by spraying upside down can speed up maceration. You must have some tricks

luscious smells like a creamier, nuttier, more lactonic, more gourmand version of sospiro erba pura cca 2018/2019. tested them side by side and luscious is in the realm of niche xerjoff/sospiro family. it is more feminine i would say but a confident guy could rock it ! (the musk is very toned down, almost unnoticeable unlike in sospiro erba pura)

Agree 100% that Middle Eastern clone houses have changed the game and are giving designer/niche brands a run for their $$. Per your recommendation, I purchased Khadlaj-Prestige King (saffron/leather). So, so good. And lasts all day long. For under $40, Khadlaj is a steal given the quality. Going on vacation to northern Scotland in a few weeks and Prestige King is in the travel bag for that cooler weather.

Fragrance World has probably my favorite catalog of frags, but for me, the best quality clone house is Rasasi. The least amount of busts from them.

What are your favorites from them? Rasasi does have good quality but I'm not aware of nearly as many top quality clones from them. I'm not saying they don't exist, I'm saying I don't know what they're called.

@b3yambur to my nose, La Yuqawam (Tuscan Leather), Dareej (Valentino V), Brilliant Silver (Ganymede), Sotoor Waaw, and Al Boruzz Asrar Indonesia. I have some others but these are the 5 I find myself using the most and I have Hawas too. Not sure if Waaw is cloning anything specific, but it's great...excellent scent, projection, and longevity. The Al Boruzz is a green oud scent...not pungent at all and pairs very well with the other notes like ginger, grapefruit, and Vetiver...it's an oud for those timid around oud. All of these fragrances are extremely good depending on what you're looking for and the notes you like.

I have Babycat, Rifaaqat and Nayel Queen. I couldn't try Fierte yet. In my opinion Rifaaqat is a very close dupe and Nayel Queen a kind of fresher twist of Babycat. Not so peppery, not much suede. Enjoyable, of course. But not a dupe. I'd like to see a comparison with Fierte and Vanilla Baby from Dua, too.

As a whole large line, it's a toss up between Fragrance World and Paris Corner, giving Paris Corner the slight edge. for a smaller line, Dumont is killing them both right now. Their quality of juice is outstanding. Then right up next to Dumont would be Ahmed Al Maghribi, like Dumont, its the quality of the juice and uniqueness of the fragrances.
