@@wesjanson6979 David didn't want to because there was nothing new he could do with Niles. That's why they're focusing on different characters. The Frasier and Niles story is done. It's time for Frasier and Freddy.

I am watching and waiting for a well written episode in this revival. There are four episodes left this season. Each of these.four are written by different writers who have never written a previous episode. I am hoping maybe a. Couple of these people know how to write a Frasier episode. It is definitely possible. However, the cast is very poor overall. Only Kelsey and Anders Keith have been delivering good performances.

Part of the problem is Frasier's face. (I'm old, hear me out.) Grammer himself is perfectly fit for his age, in fact, fitter than back in the 90s. But age and gravity are the enemies of the human race, and only bizarre plastic surgery (don't do it, Kelsey) can get the downward turn of his mouth to push back up again. He look perpetually angry unless he smiles, in short. So there's already a mountain to climb when people see stills or short clips of an angry old guy.

This is not Frasier - this is some cartoonish caricature amateur theater company rehearsal. A freak show. The writing, the acting...just utterly awful.
