Thank you so much Brandy. I love your easy way of explaining..not to fast for people like me who like to watch every detail. I love this card and am going to make it today for a friend’s birthday tomorrow. 😍

I actually love this card. And I must thank you dearly for teaching us how to use framelits and markers. I have both and was intimidated by them both. But soon I will try them both. You are so sweet to take time to teach us how to use them, and quickly. I try to watch six to ten how to videos daily. It lifts my spirits, keeps me calm, teaches me my favorite craft, and helps inspire me to "TRY". Sometimes I think I want to sell your products, but I honestly don't know anyone else in my area that does scrapbooking like I do. I also appreciate the person behind the camera as well; close up shots are VERY IMPORTANT and helpful to viewers like myself. So please thank them as well.

Cute card Brandy! I love stamping that Apothecary Stamp set with Memento ink and coloring those pretty flowers and leaves in with my Copic markers. They blend so beautifully and add so much dimension to this set.

The possibilities are endless...thanks for showing us how to make a flip card. I have seen the flip dies but did not feel like I could justify spending the money on them but now I can use all of my dies to make these.....I love being able to find new uses for the things I have....my stamp club will love this.....

Brandy, I am in love with these "flip it" cards. Too cool for school!!! lol. I have to give you credit though, I have seen many, many demos in the last number of months of people making these without the flip it die set and you absolutely have made it look totally effortless. I mean to watch you do it, I would get up right now and go try one. You make me feel like there is absolutely no reason why this wont work out just as perfectly as the pre cut dies. Actually probably yours is easier. i have one of the big expensive sets and there are so many components to cut out. But, also with this stamp set you used, it probably is one of the prettiest cards of any you have done. I think I will have to go back through my catalog and check into the price of that set of stamps. The color combo, the florals, the entire card is just gorgeous. I mean like, move over Hallmark!!! I have lots of framelits like this that I am dying to try on my own. One thing I do want to do though and am curious if you've tried and that is to do double or triple flips of the same shape. Have you done that? i've seen squares and ovals. I have numerous ones that I want to try. A question though for you, the measurements are going to change based on the size of your base card and the size of the die right? That is the part I need to figure is what is that formula to base it on. I love all of your tutorials and I love your energy and charm. Such a precious lady you are. Oh, one more question, I upgraded from the Big Kick to the E-Bosser. The big electric granddaddy. LOVE it. Except for this reason. With it being electric I don't have the ability to not run the plate half covered like you have to here unless there is a trick to doing that that you may know about. Do you? I do still have my old big kick so I can do it that way but would love to know if I could do it on my electric machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day!! Oh yes, forgot, one extra question, when you do these type cards, where do you do you personal remarks to the person on the inside. Do you try to do it right under the die where it wont show when it's closed or would you make it actually another layer under, so there would be a total of 3 layers. Am I making sense? it is 4:00 a.m. so I may not be. haha Just let me know. Thanks a bunch.

Hi, Brandy! I love this video! I tried doing this on my own prior to your video with various SU Framelits, but just couldn't get it to work perefectly. THEN YOU POSTED YOUR VIDEO!! YEAH!! I was trying to line up the points of the die ON the score line prior to seeing your video, which just didn't work. Now I have mastered the techinque. Love the Apothecary Art set -- can also use "Loving Thoughts" stamp set for your sentiments -- makes a beautiful sympathy card, too! Thanks so much for sharing. Wish I lived closer so I could attend your stamp camps!

I'll never understand how anyone can glue something down and then stamp on it (or glue something down and then colour it). I always stamp first just in case I mess up.....which has happened more than once. I'd rather stamp the piece and make sure I have a clean image that can then be glued to the card instead of having to pull off the messed up stamped image. By the way, your tutorial is fabulous. You explain clearly without rushing and your camera work is great.

Hi Brandy. Thank you for this video. Will definitely try it later. You have also convinced me that i NEED a magnetic platform. I am fed up with using tape that either wont come off its roll or that's embossed with your card. Yuck its the most horrid sight especially when the first few steps have gone well. You then have to salvage any pieces of card you can and start again. Hugs and Luvs Wendy xxx

Thanks for showing another way to do a flip it card. I'm still having trouble with tomboy. If I put the white insert on the card it bleeds thru the back. Is that because my card stock isn't heavy enough?
@brandyscards10 жыл бұрын
Hi Kathleen, The reason that is happening is probably due to using too much glue. You just need a light application of glue for the card. Hope this helps! Many Blessings! Brandy
