He dope and so are you Matt 🔨 both amazing framers

Your technique for straightening that last twisted stud was nice, as well as the no-measure blocking. This demonstration showed a good compromise between going as fast as possible at the expense of accuracy and being overly tedious for stick framing. Nice work.

As a framer… yes. Indeed. That is a wall. I definitely needed to watch this whole video start to finish after a full day of framing at work

I needed to watch it too, after living it

Respect! Some rare skills right there. The method you use for cutting blocking is impressive.

Do you think you could do this full time? I worked in a pre fab shop we built walls and entire sections of floors ..we called them “floor cassettes” joists .rim.. all blocking then sheet it ..they guys on site would drop it in ..I talked to a lot of carpenters that said it would drive them crazy doing the same thing every day …what do you think could you do this full time?

Hey man what size did u order for your belt? I’m curious bc I’m want to order one and we have a similar build

I’m 5’11 150 and wear a small for my set of badgers if that helps 👍

@@jacob-k4m thanks man. Do u have enough room for winter layers?
@kickyourfaceandlaugh6072 ай бұрын
Just take a tape measure and measure around your belly button. I’m like 34 and a half so I got a size small and fits perfect even with winter clothes.

@@UrAverageCarpenter im out in the central coast of california so its never too cold or harsh weather but with a size small im still fine with a hoodie and another light jacket layered no problem i keep the belt on the tightest fit even on a small when layered up so u should be good no problem if u have a similar build and at worse maybe just have to loosen the belt every now and then when wearing more layers

Yo man just curious when are you choosing the coil framing nailer over the strip? I haven’t used a coil framing gun and am curious about getting one just for geeking out.

90% of the time. I like the higher capacity, this specific gun is a little slow though
