That is a beautiful bike. Those front forks are very nice. My own Reynolds 531 has curved forks and like you say the ride is super comfortable. Enjoy.

It was interesting to hear your choices and the reasons. I am currently planning a bike in a similar vein. I rejected 853 tubing, not for price reasons, but because it is so thin walled I am concerned about dents. I am torn between 631 and 725. I agree with the ride quality of a curved steel fork, but I am definitely not going for discs because they require a much stronger fork, undermining the suppleness of the ride.

I came back to this video because I was wondering what tubing was used for the stays, but it doesn't seem to be included. Since writing the above comment I have read that some riders found Reynolds 753 wasn't supple enough, so they asked to have frames made with the main triangle in 531 and the stays in 753, the article said the modern equivalent would be a 631 main triangle and 725 stays. I am going to discuss this with my framebuilder.

Very nice frame for a VERY reasonable price considering it's custom. Might need to add some €€ for the paint job, but still.

Yes, Gaëtan from L'Ecurie here in Brussels did a fantastic job and at a very reasonable price. At the end I decided to have the frame painted and that added about 120€ to the total.

The headlight is too low. US DOT motorcycle regulation requires it be 22 inches above the ground or higher for better visibility.

The headlight is mounted above 650B (i.e. 27.5") wheels, so it is at least 27.5" off the ground.
