LYRICS: Well, I swear to God, we've been down this road before The guilt's no good and it only shames us more And the truths that we all try to hide Are so much clearer when it's not our lives When we don't face the blame Won't you get on your knees? Have faith and believe in this lie with us all Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Well, I'm calling out to you Can you hear me now? Well, it's not a rebellion when you're selling out To an out-of-fashion salesman Our promising lives are full of empty promises Temptation's falling and calling you home again Well, I'm sorry if we've let you down Won't you get on your knees? Have faith and believe in this lie with us all Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Well, I'm calling out to you Oh, can you hear me now? Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Well, I'm calling out to you Oh, can you feel me now? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? What's wrong? Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Well, I'm calling out to you Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Now my body's on the floor And I am calling Well, I'm calling out to you To you

This song really speaks to me on many levels. How many of us can put ourselves in the role of the preacher? Something you're doing you know you shouldn't be doing, but you do it anyway just to have some sort of 'high'? But at what cost? This is my translation of it, then again, this is how I interpret the song. I'm sure others see something that this song says and apply it differently.

At the beginning you see he is at Eden Gardens luxury suits, symbolizing the garden of Eden where eve committed the first sin. You see him clutch the rosary in his hands but temptation brings him back to a drunken sex party with hookers. He starts church telling them to get on their knees, if you can lip read that's what he says. He tells his church to give money, I can only assume to him to sin with. When the lead singer walks in he represents his sin making him uncomfortable and starting to fidget. You see him drop the wine synopsis ing the body of Christ. He screams about sin and rebellion only seeing his sin (the lead singer) staring back. He then confesses his sin the the congregation and to his family the crying woman who clearly at the beginning thought so highly of her husband. When he confesses and loses everything does his sin leave. He now only has to ask for forgiveness.... And that's my thoughts on it.

Give it a few years. It's temporary music for teenagers going through their emo phase that need something to relate to. I'm not hating as I used to like this band when I was going though my emo phase and everyone has their right to listen to and enjoy what ever music they please. However, chances are you won't be listening to them when you're 50 and you would've probably forgotten about them. Once again, not hating as I think they're alright.

+Will Thomas I respect your view for the music and what not, but I'm 21 and find the lyrics relatable to a certain degree from what the songs I've heard, and that's without putting much thought into what I'm hearing. In saying all this, I'm not going through an "Emo" phase, even when I was blasting BVB and ETF, I liked the songs, not the scene, and some others are like that too, ya know?
