What a FANTASTIC interview. Queen Barbra has had to have done hundreds of interviews in the last few months promoting her incredible autobiography and I have probably seen them all, and this is the best exchange by far. It is just so next level. President Fran Drescher is magnificent. She is one of Barbra's most famous super fans so I suspect this was beyond intimidating for her but you would never know. Her genuine love for her favorite artist is felt by La Streisand. She made Barbra feel so comfortable. How marvelous this was to watch. It's like getting a very expensive "Masterclass" of deep wisdom from one of the greatest talents of all time for free.

As a child, young teenager, grow up, my dream was to go to a Barbra Streisand concert. Only problem was, I lived in The Netherlands and going to the USA was something we could not afford. Then for my 40 birthday (this was 17 years ago!) My husband surprised me with tickets to a Barbra Streisand concert in England. When we got there, we where up dated and we sat 6 rows away from Barbra…………… Well let me tell you…….I could die💜💜💜 It was amazing!!!! I just sat there in tears al night. To me, it was (outside of our 3 kids) the best experience in my life. After the concert I told my husband; “I can die in peace now, my biggest wish has come true💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I truly feel blessed that I got to see her life🥰🥰🥰

I really enjoyed this very thoughtful conversation. To be privy to Barbra's thinking behind the scenes as both an actor and a director on those certain movies was very special. I didn't know to what extent she helped bring 1986 about in our democracy and to stop nuclear proliferation. We could use that moment once again. What she said about women getting too strong (paraphrasing) and getting punished by the move to limit women's freedoms again was insightful. This woman lived her truth her whole life. What a gift to us who were watching and enjoying her vulnerability, talent and humor! The interview/chat showed that Fran had clearly done her homework and her love of and admiration for Barbra and her body of work. I loved having a quick review of Barbra's entire career. I enjoyed everything she's ever done! What a body of work! ❤❤❤

The audiobook was AMAZING! Hearing her tell the stories was like being her best friend for 48 hours! I was actually sorry it ended! I’m also a HUGE fan of Barbra’s so it was great hearing the stories behind some of my favorite movies: The Way We Were, A Star is Born, What’s Up Doc, The Main Event, Just to name a few.
