I really like the calm way Fran is doing it! Especially the part when she takes the time to stop and write her notes, no hurry... Thanks for sharing, Fran

Hi Fran! thanks for sharing this conversation... what a beautiful piece of art! I really love it. I want to make a video reaction to this demonstration, reacting to different parts of the conversation. I will not talk about the client, only the process... this conversation is full of phenomenons and I find it a real master demo. I hope is it ok for you? Cheers, Dan

I’m confused by this. She interrupted him multiple times, went faster than his pace, asked long winded questions, and appeared to be leading at times. He asks her a question and she runs over the question with a response. Doesn’t ICF teach to not do this? Instead, to redirect. She then goes on to talk for a bit after this. He got some results from the conversation but the approach seems counter to a lot of the ICF training I’ve received. All this to say, her questions were obviously helpful and that’s great. He also felt very present with her.

I am also curious why it happens with ICF master coaches all over the world. I was noticing these traits of a direct style before. If they are doing their own free style of “coaching” why call it mcc Icf demo? Of course almost anything can be helpful to the clients, even just a dialogue without any rules, but the thing is how to coach professionally without leading and to have a demo of it if it is mcc Icf coaching. The coach keeps speaking in between and is irritating with her false laugh. Surprised to see MCC coaches unable to maintain silence and hold space

I think she interrupts and finishes his sentences too much.
