Fran Tarkenton 1972 John Facenda NFL Today Segment * RESTORED * - 1440p/60fps

There's this great KZbin channel named 'Obsolete Video' that I came across recently. They acquire old videotapes from TV stations and other sources and digitize them. Last week they posted a 1972 'NFL Today' show from 1972 Week 2, the likes of which I've never seen before. At the end of that show was a wonderful Fran Tarkenton segment about his return to the Vikings, narrated by John Facenda. The NFL Films clips in that segment, per the norm for shows back then, were pretty bad. I was able to restore the majority of that segment and the original clips by finding the same shots in other films. I substituted similar shots for the ones I could not locate. Unfortunately the very last part of Facenda's audio is cut off, but I'm positive he says 'winner'. You can see the original segment quality here --- • KNXT-2 1972 NFL Today.
