Fran is pregnant and she needs to tell Maxwell! He does not respond the way Fran hopes!
From Season 6 Episode 7, 'Mom's The Word'. Fran gets upset and storms off after breaking the news to Maxwell that she's pregnant. She goes to the park and while there she doubles up in pain and is rushed to the hospital. Maxwell rushes to her side.

That last part where they say I love you to one another then kissed felt so genuine. It’s hard for me not to melt my heart seeing them that way towards one another. Acting or not, these two brought such a beautiful connection to the screen. Big respect for the actors & their spouses to allow us all to play make-believe. Sometimes pretend world is better than our real world. Just for a moment we can all pretend all is right with the world when you watch two people really love each other.

Ah, this is the happy times, before the bad news. When in the next episode she learns about what happened, and gets out of bed in silence... I thought that was the most emotional scene Fran Drescher had ever acted. It makes me cry just to think about it. I love Fran as a funny actress but I think we missed out a lot on the depth she was able to display, when the story asked for it. She probably would have also been amazing at drama.

Mine knew before I did, simply because my mother offered to take us to Wendy's for Frostys and I said I felt like a vanilla one instead of the chocolate I always get. That's how I was the entire time I was pregnant, even if it was only 6 weeks. He actually predicted that too, because I went back to eating everything I normally would instead of the opposite. He asked me if I was feeling ok and probably 5 minutes later I started bleeding. Now any time I'm worried, he says he would know if I was. He also learned the pattern of my period before I did! He still tells me when it's coming after almost 9 years together! He's way too good....
