Hi James and family looks like you are having great time up to now. Last sight doesn’t look up to much, but supposed it’s just over night don’t matter really. Just a observation James please don’t take it the wrong way. But count how many times your hands completely leave the steering wheel especially when your vehicle changes up gears. And reading looking down at either your phone or paper. Just something I have noticed. Just want you all to get there in one piece , your lovely family just something to bare in mind as your channel growing. Keep your videos coming we do enjoy them, hope your all have great holidays 👍

Great vlogs, we’re planning our first caravan trip to France next year and noticed your Sat Nav, what type is it and is it advisable to have a spare one aswell as the built in car one? Peter

Hi Thanks you ands thanks for watching, The Sat Nav is an Avtex Tourer 2. Great bit of kit, it has all the campsites across Europe for the CMHC & ACSI already programmed in. I can also put my outfit size in so that it wont take me down any narrow lanes, etc, so it knows I am towing a caravan and how big it is. That is the main reason for the extra Sat Nav as I cant put in that I am towing in the built in one. Hope that Helps and Happy Camping James

Hi Ryan, Thank you that's very kind of you to say. What Electrical Panel do you have on the Caravan. If its Sargent one then you have an indicator light on it, That when you connect to the post in France, It will illuminate if you have reverse polarity. If you do find you have reverse Polarity, things will still work, but they remain live when switched off, as the Live is on the negative side. Just put that between your EHU cable and the post and all will be good, the polarities (Wires are swapped over) in side so corrects it

If you do find you have reverse polarity with this plug, you just unplug and turn around, failing that jut put it in line with the adaptor and the EHU lead.

Great vlog, enjoyed it, quite informative. Do have a question though. How have you mounted your SatNav, looks like an interesting mount for a Garmin camper?

Thank you we really appreciate you commenting. The Sat Nav is just mounted in the windscreen using the Standard Garmin suction mount that clips into the back. This is the Avtex Version so not sure if it's any different to the Garmin Camper. Hope that helps and thank you for watching.

@@CaravanEscapades101 It is the same unit, just branded and loaded with the CAMHC sites. Looks like it’s on some sort of pad on the dash. Must be a dash feature. Thanks for the quick reply 👍

@@gnarlyboot477 I see what you mean. The bit underneath is just a bit in the Dashboard, I think it's a speaker grill. I just use the suction cup and put it as low as I can so it's touching the Dash. It seems to fall off if I have it any higher.

Thabk you. Yes did film Disney. We did it with the 360 Camera so will take a bit more editing. They do allow filming what they don't allow though is Selfi Sticks which I found a bit strange. Probably because of the crowds and whacking others with it.
